Hello. Welcome everyone. Just letting you know this is in Niagara Falls Ontario Canada and surrounding areas in the Niagara Region.
I am offering mobile dog and cat nail trimming in the comfort of your own home. Multiple discounts on 1 or more pets in your household . Pets can get stressed out , going in the car to the vets to have anything done, or just going in the car in general. Some pets are aging and have a difficult time to get into a vehicle , I would like to help ease your pets mind and yours also.
I am located in Niagara Falls, and I will go to Wainfleet, Port Colborne, Fort Erie , Welland , Crystal Beach, Ridgeway and surrounding areas.
My recommendation as to how often your pets nails should be done :
If your dog walks a lot and their nails are short, then you may not need to cut them as often in the summer as opposed to the winter. The longest you should wait is 8 weeks. . Dogs nails grind down as they walk on concrete and asphalt. Smaller or senior dogs who don't walk a lot or do not walk at all, can be done every 4-8 weeks, depending on how quickly they grow back, after being cut. If you have a puppy, the sooner you get them into a routine of having their nails cut, the better it will be.
Cats nails grow back very quickly, so if you would like to save your furniture from being ruined, I would recommend your cats nails being cut every 2 weeks to every month.
Cutting your dogs nails too quickly can cause them to bleed , as they are being cut too soon in between trimming. I will be honest with you and tell you if it is too soon to cut them.
If left too long on either your cat or dog, they will grow into the pads of their feet, causing extreme pain and risk of infection as well. This could be a very expensive vet appointment to make them feel better.
Note: I also do a**l glands on dogs, and sanitary shave (under dog or cats tails)
