My Miggie, 19.5 years old, is a little purr-machine…enjoy his rumble💕
Cat parents sometimes struggle with giving meds to their cats. Pilling a cat requires control, speed and commitment. I’ve taught many of my clients this tried and true method that has worked very well for me. Having Kitty with his back toward you prevents a cat’s natural tendency to back up when under stress…he has nowhere to go. Next, control the head by holding it near the jawline in your non-pilling hand. Hold the pill between your thumb and index finger and tickle the side of Kitty’s mouth close to the jawline and he will slightly open his mouth. Push the pill with your index finger right to the back of his throat and kitty will have little choice but to swallow it. Down the gullet, done in seconds! Oh ya, don’t forget to kiss Kitty on top of the head to make it all better. A treat doesn’t hurt either, right Mig?
The kittens are a week and a half old and are growing like weeds! Momma Meg is doing a magnificent job with them!
After her mothering duties draw to a close and she’s able to be treated for her eye problem and spayed, this marvelous Momma will need to find her furrever home. Any help that she can get in this regard will be soooooo appreciated!
"Mig is my minion" says Queen Alison
My kitties Mig (on the right) and Allie (left) love their Cat-it Puzzle Spiral, pawing the crunchies until they fall to the bottom. I put one Tbsp of kibble in the top and they go to town, Well, Mig goes to town...Allie, she's a smarty pants, as seen here, getting her crunchies without the work...
A song I wrote in celebration of Boxing Day....
Merry Christmouse Eve, all!
