From the moment you step foot in the Heartland Niagara Animal Hospital of Niagara Falls and Thorold, you'll feel the difference immediately. You and your pet will be welcomed with open arms, and made to feel right at home. We believe the experience that you both have with us should be as positive and stress-free as possible. That means always taking the time to listen to you, answer your questions

and educate you on all of your options. It also means getting right down on your pet's level to offer that extra chin scratch or belly rub. And if that doesn't work, we've got plenty of treats to sweeten the pot!

To our most valued pet parents,

As we move into the new year, it is so wonderful to see the friendly faces of our furry friends coming into the clinic! As a reminder, the best way to keep our pets safe during their visit is to ensure that all dogs are appropriately leashed in the lobby and all cats are in secured in a carrier. With our location in a busy parking lot, it’s always in your pet’s best interest to stay right by your side. Our lobby can be a bustling area with lots of critters and clients coming in and out!

Many of our patients are visiting as they are not feeling well, so we encourage you to limit pet interactions when possible. And as we know, our animals are unique, independent thinkers and they may not always get along – even if they’re normally a social butterfly!

To help ensure the safety of our four-legged friends, we will have slip leads available for any dog coming in without a leash or (for larger breeds) on a flexi-lead. If you need a carrier for your kitty, we will have single-use cardboard carriers available for $8.
