Sometimes you just need to breathe and let go 💞

I went on a hack with a couple lovely ladies from the barn yesterday ❤️

Besides having fun I had anxiety 😬

Going out to a place I had never been and my horse Ace was faster than the other two, and I had no idea where I was going!

I was scared how Ace was going to be and if he would spook or if I would fall off and if I did how I would be able to get back on - I was over thinking to the max 😅

Ace took the lead like he had done this a million times and I was able to relax a little …

Then I saw the other ladies reins - almost at the buckle!!! Whilst mine were short keeping tense contact 🤔

I commented on that out loud and decided to LET GO and see what would happen if I gave Ace his head …

Nothing bad happened. He relaxed more. I relaxed more.

Long story to say sometimes we’re in our heads too much and the answer is to just let go 🙏🏼

Discounted board offered to horses who can be used in program. References available, an amazing program, multiple coaches and showing opportunities available. Benchview Equestrian Centre Inc. in Niagara on the Lake is searching for solid lesson types. Looking for sturdy large ponies and up to drafts (sorry, no small or mediums at this time). Some maintenance ok, must be able to live outside with a shelter. No older than mid teens preferably, going WTC and x-rails.
Open to free/cheap off property leases and mid four figure budget to purchase. Ideally within an hour or two of Niagara. Great home provided and vet/farrier references available.

Also looking for draft driving horses, bonus if they are going under saddle.

This week the children will be going on a field trip to Benchview Equestion Farm! The T/TH group will be going on Thursday May 30th, and the M/W/F group will be going on Friday May 31st. Be sure to have your child's waiver completed before then so they can enjoy this fun filled trip. Note: There will be no classes at the preschool on these days.

Thank you to North End Co-Operative Preschool for coming to the farm and letting us teach the students about some of the animals here at our farm! The students got to learn about the horses and how to care for them and also got a demonstration from ’s goats! The students also got the chance to enjoy snack time under our summer event tent with none other than Oliver the 9 week old baby goat! 💞
