I know the streets are not great, and the driveway is still covered in snow.... But the Pups want to go to the Dog Park!
Make sure to dress up, and wear tall winter boots, The staging area has been cleared but there is lots of snow left for the dogs to play with inside!

We are happy to see so many people enjoying the dog park! Rain and freezing temperatures can cause the latches to freeze, so please refrain from slamming the gates. If you notice the latches have frozen or are not closing properly, please contact us via Facebook so we can de ice them. Unfortunately, there has been some damage to the hardware from slamming them.

We are thrilled to announce that our off-leash dog park is open for business. We were very busy in the park this afternoon, and all the gaps under the fence were filled. Thank you to all of our sponsors for helping make this happen. We will have signage up very soon recognizing all of the amazing businesses and people. Please follow the rules of the park, as posted, and remember to clean up after your pets. We will be installing a dog waste station soon as well, but remember to bring dog waste bags with you. We hope you and your dogs enjoy the park. A lot of hard work and love for our community went into it.

The off-leash dog park is almost here! Thank you to all of those who have supported us at the Nipawin Dog Park in achieving our goal of fencing the park before the snow flies. This has been a huge undertaking for us, but as of today that goal has been achieved and the fence is complete! However, we are not officially open yet. We still have some more work to do filling in gaps under the fence in a few spots before the park is fully enclosed. If you would like to go for a walk in the park, please continue to walk your dog on leash until the off-leash park is officially open.

Today’s Fall Pet Minis Fundraiser was a huge success! Special thanks to Tianna Marie Photography for providing your talent and taking amazing pictures, Justice Walker for letting us use your fancy truck and helping out all day too, and Tara McKinnon for donating all the home-grown pumpkins for decorations. Thanks also to everyone who supported the fundraiser by booking mini photo sessions with their pets. It was truly a great day, and we couldn’t have done it without all of you!
