A very warm welcome to a very special guy! Everyone meet Rio from Spirit of Hope Rescue ! He’s going to be staying with us for a little while while he finds his forever home and he is doing fantastic already!
Loving of people, dogs, treats and most of all toys, this guy is fitting right into our Family! He’s zoomed, chased and wrestled galore while even squeezing in some training to help him brush up on some of his basic manners! Today has been a great day with Rio and we can tell everyday will be with this amazing boy!

It is that time of year again, and just like the human cold, dog colds are coming too!
Please refrain from bringing your dog to daycare/overnight boarding if they are coughing/experiencing symptoms of Canine Cough!
We ask you wait 7 days from the last cough before coming back!
Don’t forget: Canine Cough is AIR BORN, which means daycare or not, they are suseptible this time of year!
As always, we will adhere to our extensive and thorough daily cleaning regimes, and keep your pups as healthy and safe as possible - as always! Our cleaning doesn’t change, because we already clean like everyday is canine cough season!

As we all know, it rained pretty heavily this morning. We are completely aware of how awful the gravel roads to the daycare are on a normal day, let alone a rain day.
In the midst of the rain, the grater passed on all surrounding roads to the daycare. This has made the gravel (for now) very mucky, like clay and difficult to drive. We know how frustrating this can be, and despite our efforts have not heard any updates on improvements to these roads.
We ask that all questions and recommendations be directed to the Town of Niverville.
In the meantime, we have been exploring fencing options for the grassy field directly across from the building in the same parking lot. As expected, these are costly options, however something temporary we would like to offer our pups an an extra enrichment space while at daycare when the roads are unwalkable (like today!). We are looking at starting a fundraiser soon - keep your eyes on our posts if you love this idea!
Thank you for your patience and support. These roads have been the only thorn in our side about moving and makes us very weary about winter time should the town make no action. That said - We are so thankful for all of you and all your dogs!

What’s your dog’s favourite part of bath time?
Baby Teddy LOVES having his chest and tummy dried. He often falls asleep during this process! He has been coming for baths since he was a tiny puppy and has learned to love bath time! He gets the extra love from our staff and feels so good afterwards.
Desensitization to baths is so important for all dogs to help them truly love bath time, like Teddy here!

Welcome! My name is Sara Matwychuk and I am the owner of Talk to the Tail. It is no surprise when I say dogs are my PASSION - and no one can argue that! I strive off building positive, lasting and fulfilling relationships with all dogs I meet, and there isn’t one I do not love. I have 3 years of dog daycare, pet sitting and dog walking experience and it has been my lifelong dream to open my very own dog daycare and I am finally making it happen. I am so excited to grow with this amazing community and see what we can do together.
At Talk to the Tail, we are no ordinary dog daycare. Our mission is to provide a safe, clean and fully transparent daycare where dogs of all ages and sizes can come socialize, play and relax in a structured and fully supervised daycare setting.
With daily detailed reports of your dog’s stay, photos upon photos upon photos (I am a picture nut!), videos uploaded daily and our viewing area in the lobby you will be able to experience first hand your dog’s use and enjoyment of our daycare space. This is how we can commit to out promise of a safe, clean and fully supervised daycare.
I was so excited to find the amazing Old Town Hall at 86 Main St where I am able to bring my vision and dream to life. With the amazing team at Wallace, Wallace and Edwards Properties we have the perfect set up for your pup! We have 2 completely separated rooms, one smaller side and one larger side, both with direct access to our amazing outdoor yard space. In the smaller side you will see your calm, older and lower energy pups enjoying a cuddle, nap or small play groups throughout the day. In our larger side, our high energy, playful and what we like to call “party animals” can spend their day partying with their best pals, playing structured games with our staff and staying engaged all day. Not only does two rooms of daycare mean your dog will have the best experience possible, but will have the supervision they need. We can guarantee that we will provide the right environment for your dog based on their personal needs and they will not go home stressed or overstimulated, but content, relaxed and properly exercised. We offer a state of the art facility with advanced heating and A/C systems so your dog can get the attention and care they need even on the hottest AND coldest days.
