Hello! My name is Jaimie and I'm the owner and creator of Aspenvale Leads.
For over 22 years, I have been exhibiting and training Bearded Collies in conformation and obedience. Aspenvale Leads began in November 2017. I had brought home my new puppy, Sully, and was looking for a variety of training leads for obedience and a new show lead. I did not love the weight or feel of some leather and nylon products I had purchased in the past (or the cost) so I set out to make my own!
Aspenvale Leads are made with satin cord using variations of a Japanese braiding technique. Each order customized to your specification and hand-made with great detail and care. We can also add embellishments such as hand-stamped metal tags to display your dog’s names titles, or accomplishments, along with beautiful metal and glass bead, and charms.
