Norland Recreation Centre -Ward Memorial Park The Norland Recreation Centre is a wheelchair accessible, air conditioned, hall that can be used for indoor sports or can host events big or small.

The Norland Recreation Centre offers something for everyone in the community!

- Large rec hall (for events or indoor sports)
- Full kitchen
- Outdoor Roofed Pavilion
- Baseball diamond
- Soccer field
- Horse shoe pits
- Playground Inside there are also washrooms and a full kitchen with serving capability. The halls indoor capacity is 250 people. Outside there is a roofed pavilion that can be

rented on a daily basis to host family gatherings, or provide shelter to those participating in sporting events. There is also a Baseball diamond, a soccer field, horse shoe pits, and a playground. The sport fields can also be rented to ensure availability for scheduled games or tournaments as desired. To inquire about all rentals please email

The property of Ward Memorial Park that surrounds the recreation centre is open for public use, but renters will take priority and those who have not rented the area will be asked to leave! The park is also a popular dog walking area and we love seeing your furry friends run and enjoy, but we ask that you kindly clean up after them and keep them leashed!

THE RINK IS AMAZING - come out and enjoy a few laps around the rink.

We couldn’t have done this without the generous donations !!

The lights for night skating are on order and will be put up as soon as they arrive


Please refrain from the sides of the rink where snow falls off the roof - the snow guards are on order.

If there is snow on the ice please grab a shovel and help us ! It takes a community

Our volunteers will be flooding throughout the day and late at night

So everyone is wondering about the rink in Norland - here’s the scoop - we finally got it passed by our engineer to go ahead and put the boards in and get the ice freezing on the pad ! Bare with us - it’s a work in progress by our committee ! Hoping for some cold weather after our rain fall on Sunday !

Eleven on pine donated prizes for us and we so appreciate you ! Also they donated a door prize which was a basket full of some special items - thank you we couldn’t offer the kids this fun without you !
