HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY to all 10 babies ❤️

Holy cow does time ever go by fast. We loved and cared for every single one of the 10 pups. We poured our hearts into loving and caring for these guys with all we had for 8+ weeks.

We are so happy they found their furever homes! Thank you everyone for all the updates. We only had them for a short while, but each pup made forever imprints on our hearts.

We were lucky enough to have one find her way back to us. I hope everone has a pup-tastick day!

Probably a 10-15 minute read but worth it!

For all the chewers/diggers out there!! Identifying WHY they are chewing and mitigating the likelyhood of them destroying very expensive things. It's a frustration that A LOT of dog parents have!! The same can be applied to digging!!

Every pup is different but for us, "A tired dog is a good dog"!!❤️ Both physically and mentally.

If they do not get enough of either stimulus, they can use chewing and digging as outlets for the pent up energy/anxiety and lack of stimulation.

We encourage 5-10 mins of uninterrupted focused training per day. Working on a trick or reinforcing standard training commands. And at least an hour or more(combined) of exercise per day, like fetch, swim, walks, runs, hikes, adventures, etc.

It’s normal for puppies and dogs to chew on objects as they explore the world. Still, lots of chewing is, shall we say, unwanted. Learn how to manage chewing.

Hi everyone!!! Pups are 8 months old now! How are the a-dog-lescents doing 😁? This is the hardest period of raising a well-rounded pup. They test the limits, chew and/or eat things that aren't meant for them, seek adventure, and push boundaries all while looking at you with those cute little faces and puppy-dog eyeballs! It can be a trying time, forsure!

Just know that with consistency and proper reinforcement, that these not-so-welcome behaviours CAN be weeded out. Although time consuming and frustrating at times, this is a normal stage of puppy-hood. Reach out if you feel overwhelmed!! I will do my best to provide support and suggestions 😊

Really good training cues in this short video. Great for the nippers out there and the unwanted jumping greets. 😵‍💫
Minimum 10 minutes of training per day, especially while they are puppies!

The last 2 babies Mercedes and Rari went to their fur-ever homes this weekend. Congrats to the new paw-rents!! ❤️❤️❤️

I am not gonna lie, I shed some tears. Our home is much quieter now!!
We hand raised these babies with a lot of love, sweat and mostly tears of joy, sometimes frustration, and a lot of sleep deprivation. We are over the moon happy for all of the families and feel we have found the absolute perfect homes for our babies.

Don't forget ☝️It's that time of year, to start the babies on flea/tick/heartworm protection.

We were using revolution, but as studies have shown and our vet agrees that it does not cover all the types of ticks in the area. We have switched to Simpirica... a chewable form. So much easier!! Ask your vet what is right for your baby!!

Mama finally got some time alone today! Spa day! Nice fresh 'do. She looks so tiny without all the fluff!!! 🥰 3 little muffins left, they are doing so well with crate and behaviour training!!

2 more of our babies (Harriet and Phoebe) went to their fur-ever homes today! Made the drive with everyone, including mama!!
Congrats!! We are so happy
For everyone. They both look right at home ❤️

Gave mama a good brush out today... super fluffy! Fave new toy is a stolen sock 😂 some interesting choices of sleeping quarters. A cute game of tug-of-war and cuddles.... oh my heart ❤️

Potty training and cognitive milestones!!! You have had some time to settle in! Here are some tidbits that are time sensitive and helpful!!

Potty training- they will regress and progress! BE CONSISTENT!!! They will get it! Don't punish/correct unless you see it happen, after that it's too late and they don't understand what was the wrong behaviour.

Socialize your new pup as much as you can with people and other immunized animals. This will help them be less reactive and anxious towards other people and animals!!

7- 8 weeks old. Figuring life as a pupper out. I buried Mason in a pile of puppies. Had visits from one of the new families and my niece and nephew. Socializing with other humans. They are so gentle and loving!! They still all pile up together for naps. Living and learning their best lives. Started regularly going to the bathroom outside and explored chewing different items in the backyard including sticks and bark and playing with ice chunks.
