Thank you EVERYONE who helped make the fundraiser event a huge success!

🏆🏆 Our team won the most funds raised and the most laps completed!!

It was a challenge as the number two team with the most funds raised continuously battled through out the day and a generous equine community member tipped the scales in our favor during the last hour of the competition.

In addition to the motivated competitors, the rain and thunder storms throughout the day made winning the most laps completed a challenge. As you can see from the helmet picture, one of our riders could not complete the final 4 hours of the event so it was up to father and son (Mitch and Keegan Holmes) to complete the event. The effort of every rider was admirable as there was multiple crashes in the rain.

Thank you Dr. Melissa Eden for covering while I volunteered for the duration of the entire event.

The 14 teams were able to raise $65,000 making all the kids and the 3 different charities our biggest winners. I am very proud and grateful for the generosity of the equine community and the true grit and endurance of our team members.

Hello Equestrian Community,

Help needed! Tino's Handmade Riders are once again supporting the Charity Fund Raiser Event to take place at the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit in Duncan August 18th 2024.

Three different charities will benefit from your support,
Cowichan Therapeutic Riding Association
BC Children's Hospital
Children's Health Foundation of Vancouver Island.

A tax deductible receipt will be mailed to the address you provide when donating. Although I am not racing, my team from the 2022 event decided to keep our name. I will be volunteering during the morning shift in case you are attending the event. Our team was 2nd in 2022 in all categories including fastest lap, most laps completed and most important (thanks to your help): most funds raised with $9000 out of the total of $78,000.

Don't miss the action on August 18th at Vancouver Island Motorsports Circuit in Duncan - LeMans start is at 9am, closing laps and ceremony at 6pm. Viewing lounge will be open all day with live timing, food, drink and more.

Also, new for this year, is a corporate sponsorship program. Businesses can donate to a team and have a banner displayed in the hot pit, directly in front of the viewing lounge. There is also a 50/50 sponsor available.
