Hey everyone just an update Gus Gus has found a forever home he was adopted out today and we are now awaiting for our new furry friend in need to hopefully find them a forever home just as fast. And on a personal note I just want to thank everyone who's reacted or shared or commented on these posts all of you are a amazing part of what it takes to spread the word so these beautiful animals find a new homes❣️

16 puppies and dogs who fled wildfires in the Northwest Territories need your help! 💔

The entire community of Hay River had to be evacuated, including the Hay River Animal Shelter. They begged shelters on the west coast for help, but wildfires continue to rage, and communities are struggling.

Last night they made a lifesaving flight to the Nova Scotia SPCA. 🐾 We promise to do our best, but what they really need now is your support.

Naturally, the puppies and dogs are shaken up. They have travelled a long distance for safety. And to be frank, our resources are stretched… But we won’t rest.

Attention Devoted Pet Lovers,

As of November 1st, Pet Valu and it's family of stores will say Bye Bye plastic bags and make the switch to paper.

Nova Scotia has already made the change however we will begin to charge $0.25 per bag as of November 1st.

We encourage you to bring your reusable shopping bags or purchase one of our adorable totes in store.
