Martin was here back in November for his first boarding stay with us. Martin likes to be just with humans, and not have to share his attention with other dogs. Which was actually one of the main reasons we started in home boarding back in 2021 - for those dogs that wouldn’t enjoy being with groups of dogs (or around other dogs at all!) Martin got a private doggy suite away from my 2 dogs and all the human attention he could want and lots of treats, walks & enrichment!! If you have a reactive dog and think there’s no where you can leave them (don’t worry, we have been there with our past German shepherds!!) They may be a fit for our private boarding option :)

Theo is a 2 year old brittany, he is a regular pack walker with us and he comes for boarding here too!
His best friend is Lexi the malinios but this guy makes friends everywhere he goes. He loves pretty much all people and dogs!
Theo is one of the happiest dogs I’ve ever met. And his fun, bubbly personality is bound to make you happy too whenever you’re around him!
Theo loves : zooming through the forest with his friends, any kind of toy, armpit scratches, swimming - (honestly I think it would be a shorter list of what Theo doesn’t like!) He’s sweet, gentle, smart, confident, & just an all around GOOD BOI

Happy Howl-o-ween!!! 🎃👻 all costumes were paid heavily in treats for their participation 😂

Thought I would start doing individual pup posts to introduce my regular walking / Boarding buddies!🐾

Wanted to start off with Brody! I have known Brody since the start of 2020 and we’ve walked 4x weekly together since! Brody is now in his double digits but that doesn’t stop him from being the happiest guy around and always having a great time on his private hikes!
Brody‘s favourite thing in life is ball… Ball is life! Being an Australian Cattle dog he doesn’t care he’s getting older and would still always choose to play non stop fetch, So we have introduced new games for him to focus on so he doesn’t over do it on our walks (he would still do big jumps and twists for his ball if he had the chance) so instead of playing fetch on the trails for an hour we play sniffy treat find it games, and he does all of his favourite tricks for some cookies along the way!
(And of course the occasional short ball toss)
He seems pretty happy with this agreement of more treats even if it means a little less ball time!

Our newest boarding friend Oslo was here for just over 20 days at the start of August!
He’s the 3rd wheaten terrier we have had stay here over the years it’s nice to see more of this lovely breed!
Oslo is a sensitive terrier, much like my two boys! So he was right at home here! 😁
We got lots of good walks in, different kinds of enrichment activities, playtime inside and out in the yard! Lots of summer fun!

Meet Steven, a Border Collie and Poodle cross with such a sweet temperament.
During his mother's two-week vacation, on our daily walks we concentrated on enhancing his engagement, recall, and loose leash walking abilities.
We established a valuable reinforcement history and built a strong relationship!
I’ve equipped Steven's mum with how to incorporate these tools into everyday life with Steve!
This was the foundation in preventing Steven from stopping & laying on the sidewalk in hopes to greet every person or dog,
and leaving his mother behind on trails or at dog parks!
