I’m used to random dogs approaching me, or watching me, or following me, even trying to get in my vehicle, my work gear carries the scent of 100’s of dogs, plus I smell like treats, and poo. But I’ve never had a coyote deliberately walk in front of my vehicle to get me to stop then come to my door looking up at me expectantly until today 🤔

Most, if not all, of my clients consider their dogs to be their fur-babies, just like human parents wouldn’t call an on-demand babysitter to show up and care for their children neither would most dog parents? Before hiring a human nanny parents have interviews with the caregiver to see how they interact together and whether or not there’s compatibility and the possibility for a bond to form, same goes for dog walkers and the dogs they walk. The dogs I care for are like my step-puppies, I would do anything for them and they trust me implicitly, that can’t happen without continuous interaction over a period of time.
