🚨 This beautiful girl is still searching for her forever home! 🚨

Meet Cookie!

Cookie is a 10-year-old calico with strikingly unique eyes and an irresistibly sweet personality.

She’s an indoor-only cat but would enjoy a cozy balcony or a secure outdoor space to explore.

Cookie is up to date on all her vaccinations and has been spayed. (She was previously a mom of 4 about 7 years ago- All kittens have gone to loving homes!)

💕 Loves:
- Laser pointers
- Catnip
-Cuddling and following her human around

🚫 Dislikes:
- Belly rubs

Fun Fact: Cookie is bilingual – she meows in both English and French! 🐾

This past Tuesday, we had the pleasure of spending some time with Smee while he patiently waited for his ultrasound. 🐈

Smee is an Egyptian Mau, a rare breed we don't often see here at AAC. Not only is he one-of-a-kind, but he's also full of personality and has a surprisingly wide vocal range! 😆

Despite the rainy weather 🌧️, Flea and Tick season is here!

Today, our team encountered something we don’t see every day… a tick!

While ticks are more commonly found on dogs playing in the woods and in yards, cats are still at risk too!

Dr. Ali Koby successfully removed the tick from our patient and has submitted a photo to eTick.ca to help identify it and contribute to tick surveillance in BC.

Did you know that due to BC's warmer climate, it is recommended to keep pets on year-round flea and tick preventatives, such as Revolution Plus?

Meet Oliver!

Oliver's incredible story serves as a heartwarming reminder of the importance of microchipping your beloved feline.

Ten years ago, at just 1 year old, Oliver went missing from his home in North Vancouver. Fast forward a decade, and last week, his owners received an unexpected call from the SPCA. They had found a cat with a microchip registered to their contact information.

Miraculously, Oliver was located nearly 47 km away in Langley!

Though it’s likely someone had taken Oliver in as their own, we're thrilled to announce that he has now been reunited with his loving owner—and he's settling in as if nothing ever happened!
