The beet pulp seems to be different! Check out the link below for the full information but this is what we know:

MidWest Agri manufactures beet pulp pellets and shreds in North America. The pellets Sharpes sells are manufactured in 4 different plants; 2 of which use a coal/gas dryer and 2 use a steam dryer. During the steam process, caramelization of some remaining sugars can occur. This can cause them to take on different characteristics; however, they are nutritionally identical. Sharpe’s requests products from the coal/gas process, but as stock levels get lower we don’t get a choice.

Rest assured the beet pulp pellets plain are 100% plain with no added molasses!

**CORRECTION**
The figure should state 1-2 ounces (2-4 tablespoons). Horses need a minimum of 30 grams of salt per day to meet sodium requirements. Horses in work or hot climate require more!
