It’s not every day you get to work with a Patagonian Cavy. Meet Nettle!

The Patagonian cavy- also called the Patagonian mara or Patagonian hare, is a large rodent species that can be found in central and southern Argentina.
They have long legs that allow it to reach speeds upwards of 20-25 mph. It uses this speed to evade predators, such as foxes and carnivorous birds.
