We had another great day at the Abegweit dog show.
Morning show...Raleigh won winners bitch and Beat of Opposite and is a New Champion!!!!
Zap went Best of Breed and Best Puppy now on 6 points.
Afternoon show...Raleigh went Best of Breed...Zap was Winners male( now on 8) and Rio was Winners Bitch....( 2 points)

Here are some facts:
• Female cats can become pregnant at five months.
• An average cat has 1-8 kittens per litter and 2-3 litters per year.
• During her reproductive life a female cat can have more than 100 kittens.
• One female cat and her offspring can produce between 100 and 400 cats in 7 years!
The bottom line: There are just not enough homes for the number of cats born each year. To make things worse, during kitten season the number of adult cats that get adopted drops significantly because most people choose to adopt a cute little kitten instead.

Please spay and neuter your cats!

📮 A case from our inbox: "This is my personal pet — 6 month old lab puppy. Was acting fine until he started vomiting rocks. Felt like a bag of marbles inside of him during palpating.
Surgery was performed, having to cut open the stomach and 2 areas on his intestine.
After getting him off the table into the kennel, his heart stopped. Thankfully, due to the quick action of the doctor, they were able to resuscitate.
A full recovery was made, and dog is now 2 years old! He has not ate any rocks since."
