The pampering of a prince, Oskar had an hours worth of work condensed into 28 seconds 🪄✨. Every four weeks (keep that in mind) I get to hangout with this dude and spend some time with his Momma! Every four weeks Wilmer gets a bath with deshed treatment, deshed shampoo and deshed condition - a magical combination that loosens the undercoat and makes it slide out like butter! If you watch the video and look under his belly you can see the accumulation of hair from brushing just his one side. Every four weeks this baby is groomed and fancied up and every four weeks we spend up to 30 minutes in the bathtub scrubbing and loosening a ton of hair! That 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝓈𝒽 Friday feeling ft. the ittiest bittiest little pampering session for my darling Chloe. Every 6 weeks this baby comes for a refresh of her toe beans, a bath with deshed treatment and snuggles. There are additional photos and videos in the comment as you can only post one at a time but in the the videos you will see part of the grooming process - in the bath we put some cotton in those baby bat ears so no water goes in them, then we rinse, apply face wash followed by deshed shampoo, @marshmello_dematt treatment and deshed conditioner (the triple threat) then we massage that all together, brush and rinse. Next we multitask by keeping the dryer on while we dremel her nails, tidy her pads and fancy up them toe beans. We finish her off with a fluff drying, extra brushing and deshedding and then a snuggle to complete her session! *additional video in comments* Technology is not my forte but I’ve always wanted to do one of these time lapse videos! This is my big beautiful friend Askur who came this morning for a bath with deshed treatment. All deshed appointments spend 30-45 minutes in the tub where most of the process is done! Let me walk ya through the events that unfold 💃🏼 - First, we wet the coat (done before video) - Then we apply IGroom Deshed shampoo, rub it in and use our rubber bristle brush to really scrub it in and help loosen the coat - Next is the Marshmello Deshed treatment followed by another good rubber brush scrubbin and deshed brushing (let marinate a few minutes 🫕) - Then I wash the head on a light water setting after putting cotton in the ears so no water gets in and apply a blueberry facial scrub and smoosha da faaace (what I say to all the dogs while I massage their lil faces) - Treats, always treats given - Then we rinse and rinse some more. And when we think we’re done rinsing the suds out we do one more quick cool rinse to help calm the skin, add shine to the coat and close the hair follicles - Towel dry and then give freedom from the torturous bath endured, give a snack and let take a break while I clean and prep the table - Next, we’re on the table, towel dry off again, then use a chamois cloth to absorb additional moisture - Follow up with misting in Fluff n Puff to add moisture and softness to the coat, then a spritz of Marshmello. Let sit while cleaning ears and then rub in the coat and the blow drying and fur flying begins! Once thoroughly dried, we do a dry deshed brushing, clip toe beans, trim up the pads and a final spray of Artero Shine to add shine and sleekness to the coat. This little bush demon is adjusting quite well to the domesticated cat life. We’re still learning his quirks + adjusting to how he chooses to communicate with us but with some soft whispers kindly spoken, yummy snacks, patience + repetition - he walks on a leash, does his business outside + I taught the cat to sit 🙂 He prefers to sleep where he can see us, enjoys walking in the dark, loves all food (especially vegan meat + all breads, weird, I know) + jumping around all nimbly bimbly like from literally everything.
