This cute little corgi came in for a visit with Dr. Dugan today. He was a superstar for his vaccines but was more interested in the bribes (aka snacks) we gave him for being a good boy.

We LOVE kitten season and we're excited to introduce Kai! At just 2 months old, he's already captured hearts with his playful antics and adorable purrs. Weighing in at a whopping 2.7 lbs, this little guy loves nothing more than playing with his crinkle balls and spring toys. Kai's secret talent is being able to fall asleep anywhere! 😴 From the top of the couch to the corner of a bookshelf, he's mastered the art of napping. Who else has a fur baby that can do the same? Hey everyone, meet Delphine aka Del aka The P**p Queen. She is Dr. Giedymin's newest addition to the family! This little furball is only 15 weeks old but she's already learning the ropes of life from her big sister, Phil. 🐾 Hey pet parents, it's your furry friends' favourite season - SUMMER! ☀️ But as much as we love this time of year, it's important to keep our pets safe and healthy. That's why we're is here to remind you of some summer safety tips!

Remember to always provide plenty of fresh water and shade for your pets, avoid walking them during the hottest hours of the day, and never leave them alone in a car. 🚗 And of course, don't forget to schedule their regular check-ups and vaccinations to keep them happy and healthy all summer long! 🐶🐱 Let's make this summer the best one yet for our furry friends! ❤️

Lone Star ticks have become more prevalent over the years. Females can be recognized by a single white dot in the center of a brown body like the one pictured here. Last year there were only two dozen cases in Ontario. While we mainly worry about Lyme disease from ticks, Lone Star ticks carry a bacteria that can cause a red meat allergy to humans! These feisty ticks, also known as the “aggressive biter,” moves three times faster than your average tick and will actually chase their “prey”! Check yourself as well as your animals after going outside and pick up preventative medications for your pet today! #tick #veterinary #lonestar

In honour of National Pet ID week we thought we’d show you what a microchip is! A microchip is a small device that gets implanted between the shoulder blades and is used for identifying our pets. It’s about as small as a grain of rice and can be universally read by a microchip scanner as seen in this video! While microchipping our pets is not mandatory, it is strongly encouraged as it can help identify them quickly if you ever get separated. #petidweek #microchipyourpets #animalcare
