Frank has made incredible strides in his recovery since having surgery in June to repair a slipped disc. He is so eager to do his land exercises and try new things, and is never shy to tell us when treats arenโt being dispensed fast enough!
Frank has developed good muscling from the variety of exercises, and has increased his endurance too by walking in the underwater treadmill.
Frank ends his sessions with therapeutic laser therapy to increase blood flow and healing, followed by a feisty howl to let us know heโs done for the day. (He is always willing to receive more treats though, if theyโre being offeredโฆ) ๐ถ
Winter has iliopsoas muscle strain that is being treated with rehabilitation. Our goals are to lengthen the muscle and build strength. #rehabilitation #burlington # Oakville #veterinarymedicine
Ruby is showing off how to use the balance disk! She is always so good at all of her appointments!
Do you remember a few weeks back when we introduced you to Majora? We mentioned that he couldn't walk on his own. This is Majora now! Look at what rehab 3 times a week for multiple weeks in a row can do! Majora is now able to walk on his own and we are so proud of how far he has come!
Aurora does so well in the treadmill during her visits! We just had to show her off! ๐ถโค๏ธ

Go Maze!
Did you know? We love our senior patients and can modify a rehabilitation program for any age! Here is Maze, 15 1/2 years old, doing some cavaletti's with the poles on the ground since it would be difficult for her to step over anything higher! Watch how she tricks our rehab helper Sarah, into giving her more treats!!! Dr. Tina put a lot of thought into the non slip flooring that covers the clinic floor, to ensure all the dogs get a good grip when walking around!!!! ๐ถ๐พ๐๐
