"Our dear Eddie will be 4 this coming May. With our adult children away at school, one would think taking on a puppy would be the last thing on our mind, but our home was emptier and quieter and we needed a 'project'. It was the end of Covid and we needed something (someone) to brighten our days, be the focus of our attention, and give us attention back - so we got our mixed breed Boxer/Rottweiler/Poodle Cross (although he looks more like a mini Wolfhound).

From day one, this dog has been an amazing addition to our family. He is a gentle giant, loves playing soccer, and is eager to learn. He is such a calm animal - we knew right away he would be perfect at helping others. He has been a St. John Ambulance Therapy dog for almost 3 years visiting seniors, shelters, hospital, and university from 1 to 4x a week.

Eddie is also a Canine Blood donor with CABB. Everyone who meets Eddie adores him because he is everything a great dog should be. He is loving and goofy and an amazing companion. My partner and I are madly in love with our dog and proud of it and he is so loved by us and by all those he visits in times of need."
