Meet Apollo! 🐥

On July 4 he decided to have a taste of freedom and flew out the front door. Through the help of Social Media we located Apollo in North York. After fighting a pigeon for his food and being rescued by kind strangers, he found safety and care until he was finally reunited with his family. Thank you to the staff at Joshua Creek Animal Hospital for giving him a checkup to ensure he was fine on July 10th.
We are eternally grateful for all the people who played a big part in bringing him back home to us safely! 💕

This is Viggo the Viking 🛡⚔️
Viggo is a 2 years old Maltese from Denmark.
He struggled with severe knee and digestive issues for a year with difficulties during his treaments. The owner struggled as well finding a vet that could help him. Vets informed the owner that Viggos issues were chronic and he will have to live with the these painful difficulties the rest of his life.
Viggos owner emotional roller coaster and hopeless diagnosis started motivating the idea of putting this little warrior down.
Luckily, Through mutual friends the owner was introduced to Joshua Creek Animal Hospital and Dr. Zubaidy. Thats where things took a turn.
The owner brought Viggo to Canada, seeking help at Joshua Creek Animal Hospital.
Dr. Zubaidy took matters in own hands, helping this strong viking to be able to get back on his feet again!
After a successfull surgery and a specially designed diet, Viggo is now a happy healthy pup stronger than ever!
He is now ready to go back home to Denmark and play with his friends! ✨✨

Maddy was such a brave girl for her spay surgery! She recovered very quickly and was back to her happy loving self in a few short days.

Ovariohysterectomy (spay) is a procedure where the ovaries and uterus are removed completely to sterilize a female dog or cat.

It is generally recommended that all female dogs and cats are spayed. There are health benefits such as prevention of a heat cycle, elimination of hormone fluctuations and dangerous behaviour. It also reduces the likelihood of dogs having separation anxiety.

Spaying is a major surgery that is preformed under general anesthesia. Your pet will be examined by your veterinarian and pre-anesthetic blood work is done to ensure your pets body is suitable for anesthesia.
