HAPPY SOLAR ECLIPSE DAY EVERYONE! 🕶️🌖
It is important to remember our fur babies’ safety during this wonderful experience.
Although most pets will not look up at the event, the eclipse can cause uneasy and anxious feelings for some pets. 🐾
Here are some quick tips to ensure they are protected:
1. INSIDE IS BEST 🏠 - keeping your pets inside can avoid many unnecessary risks.
2. Close the blinds/ curtains - Create a safe and cozy spot away from the light to help calm them.
3. 🐕 If you are taking your pet to a viewing event make sure it is not overly crowded, that they are leashed and have the proper UPDATED identification on their collar.
4. Pets do not require glasses as they usually have no instinct to look, placing glasses on them may cause unnecessary stress for them. 🤓
5. STAY CALM 😌 - pets can be sensitive to our emotions of excitement or anxiousness. Do your best to portray a safe and calming feeling for them.
