The office is closed this Saturday and Monday for the Canada Day Weekend. Please give us a call to arrange medication, food, or orders picked up before the weekend.

We will be open every other Saturday until September as our summer hours continue.

Regular hours resume Tuesday morning at 8:00am. Emergency services are available. Call the office to reach the Veterinarian on Call.

Happy Veterinary Receptionist Day!

Our team at the front desk is always here to assist our clients and keep the clinic running smoothly. We are so lucky to have such wonderful ladies up front!

There will be some changes to our reception team as some of you may already know. We have added a new face to our team, we are excited to welcome Brittney Buller as our new full time receptionist. Brittney grew up in Moose Jaw, but loved spending time on the family farm in Truax. She moved to Ogema 3 years ago to be closer to her family. She, her husband Aaron, and their kids are loving being in Ogema.

Brittney will be filling Melissa Peterson's position as she will be leaving us at the end of May. Melissa has decided to go back to school and pursue her EMR training, and to be able to work a bit closer to home in Coronach. We wish her all the best with her studies and new career, but we will miss her dearly around the office. Her work ethic, sense of humor, and ability to go with the flow is exceptional and although we are so proud of her for pursuing her EMR training we are sad to see her go.

Lindsey Ulm is going to be leaving us at the end of this week. Lindsey has been part time with us for close to a year, but with the ranch, the kids, and their many critters she has decided to take a step back to be at home more. We will miss having Lindsey as part of our team as she is such an asset with her personal experiences to help customers, her many funny stories, and even a few pranks around the office to keep a busy day fun.

Not to worry Crissy and Hemi will be here to guide us all through the transition as well!!

Be sure to stop by and visit with the girls; either to say hello or wish them well.

We are very excited to announce that Dr. Katelyn Gilmour will be joining our team this June. Some of you may recognize Dr. Gilmour from the summer of 2023 when she was our summer student. Her passion for what she does and great sense of humor makes her a perfect fit for the practice.

Dr. Gilmour brings an impressive skill set to the clinic and we cannot wait to see all that she will add to the clinic. Be sure to stop by and say hello!

Come meet with Ministry of Agriculture specialists to learn about variety trial and crop pest survey results, feed and water testing and new programming opportunities.
A BBQ supper will be catered by Bud's BBQ, courtesy of Ceylon Gap Feeders. Dr. Gary Hoium, an author and veterinarian from Weyburn will conclude the evening with a presentation promised to be filled with laughs and truths about the agriculture industry.

We are so fortunate at the Deep South Animal Clinic to have three amazing technicians as part of our team. Whether its puppy cuddles, helping with a calving cow, surgeries on our patients, or anything in-between Arianna, Kaylee, and Krysten are there to help! Thank you for all that you do ladies!
