Here are our top five tips for keeping your pups warm and healthy this winter:

🤍 Dress for the Weather: Invest in a cozy dog coat or sweater, especially for smaller or short-haired breeds. Make sure it fits well and keeps them warm during outdoor walks.

🤍 Provide Plenty of Warmth Indoors: Create a comfortable space for your pup with blankets and a soft bed away from cold drafts. Consider using a heated pet bed for extra warmth.

🤍 Limit Outdoor Time: Keep walks shorter on extremely cold days. Monitor your dog for signs of discomfort and bring them inside if they seem too cold.

🤍 Stay Active: Engage your pup in indoor activities to keep them active and warm, like playing fetch or hide-and-seek with their favorite toys.

Bake a batch of Apple Cinnamon Treats for your best friend!

Here’s a simple recipe:

Dog Apple Cinnamon Treats Recipe:
- 2 cups of whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup of shredded apple
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- Mix all ingredients together, roll out the dough, and cut into shapes. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.
