Today, we’re celebrating our amazing mixed breed friends! Did you know that mixed breed dogs make up about 50% of shelter dogs? These lovable pups are full of personality, charm, and love, just waiting for a forever home! ❤

To make their stay even more exciting, todays wish list item is puzzle toys today! These toys provide mental stimulation and keep our furry guests happy and engaged. Help us spread the joy this holiday season!

From now until December 20, we’re gathering donations to support this wonderful organization. Here’s how you can help:

1. Drop Off Donations: Bring your items to Barklay anytime!
2. Monetary Donations: E-transfer funds to us, and we’ll purchase goods to donate.
3. Direct Donations: Visit Heaven Can Wait's website at heavencanwait.ca and click on their "Donate Now" option.

This is a friendly reminder that we have specific drop-off and pick-up hours to ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care, as well as our staff. Here's why we maintain this strict schedule:

• Safety is our top priority for all dogs and staff
• It helps maintain a regular routine for the dogs
• Our staff are with the dogs between 9:30am - 4pm and cannot leave the playgroup sessions unattended

Our designated hours are:
• 7:45am - 9:30am: Open for drop-offs and pick-ups
• 9:30am - 4pm: Closed for drop-offs and pick-ups
• 4pm - 6pm: Open for drop-offs and pick-ups

This schedule allows us to provide the best possible care and supervision for the dogs while ensuring our staff can focus on their duties without interruption.

"After a long journey from Ontario I felt that my dog needed a break to play and relax. After a Google search I found The Barklay Pet Resort. I'm am so appreciative for the care that Winnie ( my Shih Tzu) received. I got updates with pictures. And I can truly say that she has never come home from a boarding facility as happy or clean!! The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The rates are very reasonable. Such a wonderful experience. Wish I could take "Barklay's" home with me. If you are looking for a doggy daycare or need to board your dog I highly recommend this place."
