Dog Lovers, we are in need of FOSTERS - ASAP!
We have an intake of mostly large breed puppies and need immediate placement for them. While you foster for us, we supply absolutely everything supplies wise for the dog you are fostering . You just need to give them unlimited love & be their family until we can find their forever home ♥️🩶

**** We Need Your Help **** PLEASE SHARE
Okay everyone, here we go again. Multiple more strays on the reservation in Saskatchewan.
We have room and can commit to them, but we need to get them home.
There is a slight urgency as there is a chance the females are pregnant. We are hoping we get them here early enough that we can spay them & not add to the extreme overpopulation issue that there is . But if they are well into the pregnancy, that won’t be an option unfortunately.
We are looking for transportation, a volunteer or even suggestions on someone making a trip back and forth that can bring them to us.
*** We are hoping to find a regular transport system to get these babies as they need help. It’s going to be a very long & cold winter for them as we want to get them here before they need to experience that.
There are not many rescues nor sources to help these babies in their area . We want to step in & help.

11 week old Mix Breeds

These boys came to us from a reserve in Saskatchewan where they were found on the side of a highway with no mom in sight. Through some amazing volunteers we were able to get them to Calgary and into our care where they have all excellent and their little personalities are shining brighter the older they get.

They has been well socialized with other dogs, and are phenomenal with kids (little ones too)!

These babies have been seen by our vet and have been given a clean bill of health and are looking for their new forever humans.

Our pups are adopted out with the following included :
- 3 Sets of puppy vaccines
- Rabies Vaccine
- full health check
- microchip
- x3 separate wormings
- neutering when of age .

Our adoption fee is only $550.00 with all of the above included 🌸.

In life we meet some amazing people who deep down have the kindest soul. Sometimes horrible things happen to those amazing people. Samantha our amazing manager is one of those people. Her lovely fiancé has set in motion some fundraising for her. There are so many causes out there worth donating to. Helping Samantha helps all of us save more dogs. I honestly don’t know what we’d do without her. If you have the capacity to help that would be amazing. If you have the capacity to share that’s really important!

What an amazing event! We had WolvaMac Pet photography doing Santa Photos at Pet Valu! We had our adoptables out getting all the love with some amazing volunteers helping us out! We couldn’t ask for better and we are super pumped for our next event on November 30th at the D’Arcy location. If you haven’t booked your Santa photos yet you better get on it. Spots are filling up fast!

Sweet Bhodie is so lovely and just loves kids! Young Hunter was on Bhodie patrol while we loaded up vehicles and he just sat so patiently with her the entire time. He’s going to make an amazing family dog for a home with old or young kids!

We have candles!!!! Pet Valu both locations will be selling these on behalf of our rescue to help raise some funds. Not only do these candles smell amazing, they are completely and genuinely pet safe. They are made locally in Okotoks. Feel free to pick one up from either Petvalu location and help raise funds for dogs in need!

Welcome Bhodi! This handsome 6 month old was brought to us as a stray from Eden Valley Reservation. He’s a sweet soul who’s still figuring out people are safe and strange things aren’t scary. Even though he’s timid there isn’t a mean bone in his body! He loves everyone he meets from Kids to cats! We believe him to be a shepherd mix with likely Pyrenees as well. We named him Bhodi out of the hopes he will take on that outgoing confidence from the same character in Point Break!

Evo, Elvis & Emmett having an absolute blast with their foster sibling ! These two handsome bully x puppies are about 10 weeks old and still looking for their forever homes! We would ideally like to separate these siblings as well as it’s better for their development - so if there is a foster home our their that could foster one of them, that would also be phenomenal!! Shepherds doing what they love - hanging out with their children! Backing up what I said earlier… Colt is so gentle. This one will be hard for me to let go! 🥰

A Shepherd doing what they do best, looking after their kids ♥️ Backing up what I said earlier - Colt is SO gentle with kids & loves spending time with them. This boy is special, he deserves the world! We hope his future home will be active & have kids that he can love - just like he loves my kids . This boy needs a foster - but we will also look at adoption application for him! As long as they understand he will have future appointments etc to attend ( at our cost of course!).

One of the many reasons I love Okotoks is running into adopted dogs like Ray at the dog park! He looks absolutely amazing!

Rescue Puppy Update 💕🐾

It’s a miserable day and who wants to exercise their dog outside?! Well there is a solution for that. If you have an at home treadmill you can train your dog to walk on that. This was Bruce’s first time on a treadmill and I’d say he’s doing pretty good. The leash isn’t attached to anything just set over top of the treadmill to give him some guidance. And of course, he’s not left alone at any point while using the treadmill.
