We have recently received numerous inquiries regarding the upcoming new requirements for entering the United States with your pets. Please know that we have the same limited information as you! Once we know more, we will adjust our processes and fees for paperwork accordingly, and appointments will be necissary to complete the Veterinary portion of your paperwork, due to the added administrative work load.
At this time, the CFIA has advised us as follows:
The CFIA is actively engaging with the U.S CDC to discuss and clarify these new requirements. At this tme, the process and documents needed for dogs and cats traveling from Canada to the U.S have not been finalized. We suggest that in the meantime, everyone make sure thet their pets are microchipped and have their rabies vaccines up to date. If they do not have their microchip PRIOR to rabies vaccination, they must boost it and wait 21 days before travel outside of and returning to Canada. Please keep an eye on this page (linked) for any changes once an agreement has been met (you will find the U.S portion on this list):"

Real or a teddy bear? He is real! This is our Brandy's boy Boomer who came to spend the afternoon at the clinic but loves to be with his mom all the time, but when you need both hands, this is the solution. He is the best little floof there is.
