We pride ourselves on being pet experts and we want to use our knowledge and experience to help you find the right nutrition and other solutions for your pets. Our store is involved in our beatiful community of Okotoks, teaming up with animal rescues and adoption programs, and fundraising for animal shelters. We host adoption special events several times a year and on site adoptions throughout the year. At Pet Valu, we’re pet experts, and we’re pet lovers, too.

With the increasing pressures on rescue organizations across Canada, the Calgary-based charity Canadian Animal Task Force have recently rescued 45 cats in one day in response to a plea for help. To help with the influx of cats in their care, Pet Valu has donated $5000 worth of Performatrin Ultra Grain-Free Original Recipe Cat Food through the Companions for Change program.
