Pin to Point Gelbvieh was established in 1999 and is currently owned and operated by Jeremiah & Kathy and Mark & Cassidy Barnert. The farm is located in the heart of the foothills 30 mins south of Calgary, south west of Okotoks, AB. With a small herd of 50 purebreds
the focus is obviously on quality not quantity. With the right cows we are breeding to select bulls to achieve the right combinations. At Pin to Point Gelbvieh, our top priorities are breeding cattle that are structurally sound, have a strong disposition, and address your specific needs to improve your own herd. We believe in breeding and acquiring top end cattle that can produce consistent and predictable progeny that ultimately add value to your program. Our commitment to continually improve our seed stock is ongoing and our awareness of important economic traits such as calving ease, feed efficiency, soundness and udder quality are higher then ever. We have developed a cow herd based on reality, not the show ring or fads in the industry. We are continuously striving to be a progressive breeding establishment that supplies genetics across Canada. Along with striving to improve our seed stock, we are consistently looking at improving our from field to plate beef program that allows our customers the highest quality product.
