What is Red Light Therapy?

LED light therapy is a way to help the body heal itself. Specific wavelengths of light are used that are absorbed by a photo acceptor, cytochrome c oxidase within the mitochondria of the cell. The energy from the light increases the energy within the cell, and can help speed up the healing process. The lights must be specific wavelengths, and must be delivered at a specific dosage.

Two wavelengths are used in the light therapy pads. One is a visible red, and the other a near Infrared wavelength. Using both is beneficial because the wavelengths are absorbed by different depths of tissue. The combination of the two can provide benefits for soft tissue injuries, inflammation, ligament soreness, tendon problems, sore backs and more.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese word pronounced Ray-Key. The Rei in Reiki means Universal. It is a hands on energetic healing technique for stress reduction and relaxation. It helps to encourage the body's own natural ability to heal itself and bring it back to its whole state of perfect health in body, mind, soul and spirit

Animals are super receptive to Reiki. The first couple sessions can sometimes be a little overwhelming for some, but they quickly settle into it.
