Working on Luke to improve my rotation in the saddle. How fortunate to have this tool to bring back to my horses!
Feedback from the rider, feeling centred, light, relaxed, stable and mobile pelvis, giving the ability to feel the independent aids, in this situation the legs.
Balls under the arms, brings awareness to the ribs, arms and shoulders while breathing. It was fun to embody this together! Before we began the ride.
Feedback from the rider on breathing efficiently while cantering. Building relaxation and depth in the saddle during the canter.
Adding some tapping to the low back in the canter. To help the rider feel the mobility in the low back in the gait. Usually I have to run beside the horse to do this for the rider.
Pelvic movement in the canter with the ball on the sacrum to bring awareness to the base of the spine. Rider can balance and be stable in the canter and focus on the pelvis. Much easier to explain without jogging.
The Canter is "Just Like Rock n Roll"
Cantering on Luke is just like "Rock n Roll". 🦄
Had a great session with Marnie on the racewood simulator prepping for the FME Pelvic Power workshop November 20-21, 2021.
It is so nice to be able to ride a calm and relaxed horse around on the trails around the farm. Love this mare.
