This young mare sat out most of her 4yr old year cause I was just too busy to get her out. After shaking some sillies out yesterday, I was truly impressed with her today. This is the first time I've truly tried liberty work in the big arena with her her. (Mainly cause I rarely get a chance to hog one to myself 😉)

Check out the yawns and tension she releases in one of the videos where the lead is still on her. I've never had a horse that is quite so focused, soft, and sensitive. She works so hard to be able to just rest in the comfort of the space I hold for her. I definitely have to make the time and space for this special mare this year... that and help her dial back the gain just a little.

Since taking on what most know as D bar K Ranch, we've replaced a few aged posts, pulled a lot of weeds, added some water lines, put in electrical for winter tank....
