OH NO!!! A sweet and well loved Happy Tails Alumni kitty accidentally hitched a ride in a truck from Penticton to Oliver. He panicked and jumped out at the Oliver Landfill. His loving senior owners searched all night and day for him. If you spot him please give us a call at 250-809-1572. His name is Oliver and he is a sweet guy who is likely very scared. Let’s help get this poor baby home where he belongs!!

Barry ~ 3 month old neutered male

Barry 💛 Barry is our lovable little cuddlebug, just 3 months old and already neutered, with a heart as big as his purrs. The moment he spots you, his motor starts rumbling—he’s that thrilled to see you. This sweet boy loves nothing more than being held close, where he’ll nuzzle in and happily drift off for a nap. If you sit down, don’t be surprised if Barry hops right into your lap or curls up against you like a warm, furry shadow.

Playtime is another one of Barry’s great joys. He’ll happily chase toys, bat at strings, and engage in goofy kitten antics that will keep you smiling. He’s wonderfully gentle and gets along beautifully with the other cats in his foster home, making him a great choice for multi-cat households.

Barry thrives on companionship—while his sister Polly is content to have some alone time now and then, Barry wants to be near his people as much as possible. Whether you’re watching TV, reading, or working from home, he’ll be right there beside you, offering soft purrs and unconditional love.

Neka ~ 2 year old spayed female

Meet Neka – Quiet Soul, Big Heart 💗🐾

Neka is a soft and gentle 2-year-old sweetheart who has officially joined the “Momma’s Last Litter” club. After raising her final litter of kittens with loving devotion, this lovely girl is now spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and fully healed—ready to embrace the carefree, cozy life she’s always deserved.

Neka has a peaceful presence and thrives in a calm, quiet home. She would do best in a mature adult household as the only pet, where she can feel safe and cherished. She’s quite timid around dogs, other animals, and sudden noises, so a serene environment will help her continue to bloom.

She’s not much of a talker (a true quiet companion!), but her affection is clear in her actions. Neka isn’t a lap cat (at least not yet), but she loves to snuggle up beside you or sleep at your feet. Recently, she made a big leap in confidence by venturing downstairs to curl up on the couch beside her foster auntie—an adorable and brave milestone for this shy girl!

She also has a playful side—no fancy toys needed! Just a simple game and a soft spot to curl up make her happy. And here’s a charming little detail: one of the markings on her back is shaped like a heart, which couldn’t be more fitting for a cat full of quiet love and gentle affection.
