hello everyone!
my name is Jasmine Ryan, and i’m the animal-crazed lady behind Pippa’s Paws. i thought i would hop on here and do a little introductory post so everyone can get to know a little bit about me!
i’m 22 years young, and have been a lover of animals since day 1. all of my career ideas growing up were animal based, between being a ‘dog sledder’ when i was 4 to deeply researching veterinary school until i was 19.
in the next year, i plan on obtaining my canine training certificate. my goal in life is to establish and run an animal rescue, and do training with the little time i will have left over. i have done a few personal rescues, one being my heart dog, and it was the most rewarding feeling i have ever experienced– i decided right then that it was my calling in life to rescue, rehabilitate, and find forever homes for animals in need.
Pippa’s Paws is a revamped, more in depth and professional business as opposed to when i would pet/house sit for a side hustle while in school (which is when i met most of my current clients). The business is named after my precious kitty cat Pippa, who unfortunately passed away on September 1st, 2022. she was my best friend and i had her since i was 16. while i was trying to find a name for this new business, the name it has hit me; and it couldn’t have been more perfect!
with this establishment, i want to provide reliable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable care to pets of all kinds while their families take a much needed vacation, go on business trips, or just need their animals checked on every once in a while.
being the animal lover i am, of course i have a hoard of them. i think they deserve an intro just as much as i do!
🐱Pippa is the beautiful fluff ball in the first picture, followed by her weird little brother Jip!
we recently added two new babies into the mix, the little white guy is Poe, and his brother is currently being called Iroh (eye-row), but the jury’s still out.
🐀then we have our 3 little rattie ladies! Doja, Atari, and Vi. i’ve always wanted pet rats and now that i’m an adult, no one can tell me no! they’re the sweetest little things and we’re still trying to bond with them, but they’ve come a long way 💗
🐶 and last but not least, we have miss Ellie. she was my first real rescue, and i love her with every ounce of me. i couldn’t bare the thought of not keeping her, but being young and knowing the responsibility, i share custody with my older sister and niece 🥰
thank you for reading if you made it all the way through!
i’ve had amazing support from clients, friends and family on this new venture, and i cannot wait to meet more people and their fur babies! 💗
