Hello everyone. Unfortunately another post I didn’t want to make but it is 100% necessary.

I leave my 3 1/2 month old to come into work. I love my job , I love all of your dogs but I love spending time with my baby.

I pay for childcare for the days I am coming into work and it is not fair to leave her and then have people not show up without cancelling their appointment. Especially because I have a list of people trying to get in everytime a day or two opens up.

From now on , if you do not show up for your appt without letting me know you won’t be able to make it you will not be rescheduled without paying a no show fee (50% of the groom cost)

I am on 3 years without charging a no show fee as majority of you are amazing at letting me you if something has come up last minute and you can’t make it in. Life happens, things happen, I totally understand but I am trying to make a living to keep the shop doors open and I cant make that work if you do not come to your appointment.

Unfortunately, I can’t let it go anymore. I am very sorry it has come to this. Please feel free to ask any questions. I appreciate the support and understanding.

Good morning everyone. This is not a post I want to make but unfortunately I believe it is necessary.

I had a baby less than 3 months ago and I am already trying to go back to work 2 days a week. I am not able to book weeks in advance like I was before as working depends completely on when I can get child care.

I have had multiple people be very nasty to me due to this. I have gotten mean voicemails and messages and that is totally unacceptable. I am doing the best that I can. The original plan was for me to come back to work 2 days a week starting middle of July and I am already doing that since the beginning of June.

I appreciate the patience and understanding from the majority of you guys. You are wonderful but to the ones who are making me feeling guilty and being straight up mean , shame on you.

I have decided to work on wed the 12th. I can get 4 small dogs in. Unfortunately no medium or large yet as I still have bad back pain.

Oh my goodness I cannot thank all of you guy enough.

I was SHOCKED to find that I was nominated in this category as I had to cut hours and the amount/size of dogs I was doing due to being pregnant. It was honestly just an honour to be nominated but this morning I woke up to a congratulations text.

I can’t believe the overwhelming amount of support I receive from you. I have the most amazing customers. I look forward to growing my relations even more with all of you and your wonderful dogs 🐶🌸❤️

It is official - today is my last day at work before maternity leave. Baby girl will be here in 4 weeks or less !!! I still cannot believe that my goodness.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for the past few months. All your help lifting your dogs into the tub - the understanding of having to turn away your XL breeds and most importantly the understanding of last minute appt date/time changes due to doctors appts ect. I am so grateful to all of you.

My husband and I also want to thank you for the lovely cards are baby gifts we have received from all of you. We appreciate it so much and feel as if we have a large extended family ❤️❤️

My goal is to be back to work 3 days a week at the end of June and then increase to 4 days after the summer. Please keep an eye out for updates posted on here as to when my books are open so you can make sure you snag an appt. I am not currently booking appts for when I am back as there is not an exact date.

Everett and I will miss seeing all of your faces for a few months but we are looking forward to what the future has in store for our family 🌸💗🐶❤️

My last scheduled day of work is March 8. My plan is to work a few days a week after that if i am feeling up to it and have the energy. However i am not scheduling appointment that time yet as you never know what could happen.

I have gone through my schedule until march 8th and am fully booked except for these few spots i have some extra time to get a small dog in. If you are not booked before march 8 this may be your last chance to get in !! 🐶🚨

‼️Important post‼️

There seems to been an increase of dogs coming into the salon lately with lice.

As you know, We have had a very late start to winter this year and although I am not sure if this has contributed to the problem but there is currently a lice outbreak in 100mile.

I just wanted to share “Off the ranch dog groomers” policy when it comes to lice.

⁃ When a dog comes into the salon with lice - it is immediately sent home.
⁃ The rest of the dogs for that day are rescheduled and the salon is completely bleached/disinfected from top to bottom.
⁃ Lice is very contagious and we do not take it lightly at Off The Ranch.

If you notice ANY symptoms of lice on your dog PLEASE DO NOT bring them in for their grooming appt.

If you do, this causes tremendous hardship on me physically and financially as I have to cancel my day and completely bleach, clean and disinfect the entire salon and do this while being pregnant is not ideal or safe for me to have to do on a regular basis.

I want you to know I am taking every step possible to avoid the spread and protect all the dogs that visit my salon.

I would highly recommend you take the necessary precautions and put your dog on a lice preventive as soon as possible.

Everett is on one and it consists of a liquid sq**rt on the back of the neck once a month that I can buy over the counter. No prescription necessary.

If you have any questions/concerns regarding the lice outbreak, my safety precautions or policies, please do not hesitate to ask.

Everett spent almost a week at his grandpas house. He lives like a king there , sleeping on the bed, taking up the entire sofa and constantly demanding pets/attention. I’m not sure if you can tell from the look on his face but he was not happy that I woke him up to drag him to work. He is very unimpressed 🙄

The coast just got over a huge kennel cough outbreak at all dog parks. Make sure you are rescheduling your dogs appt if you notice a cough or change in their behaviour. Bringing a sick dog into a high traffic area effects everyone !

What a lovely way to start a busy week. I am so grateful for happy tail wags ❤️🐶 Don’t mind Everett in the background. The 10 hours of sleep he got last night clearly were not enough for him 🙄
