I currently live on a hobby farm in the Orton area and have many years of confident experience working with all sizes/energy levels/temperaments. I am the sole owner of Red Collar Dog Walking Co. Offering a tailored service that I would use for my own dog is something I strive for and am happy to provide to you. Being

Hi everyone, I’m looking for 36” wire crates with double doors (single door could work too). Condition isn’t a huge factor but must have the bottom tray intact. I am so incredibly heartbroken to share that our sweet boy, Blaze, crossed the rainbow bridge this weekend 🌈 very unexpectedly. He was too young and it just isn’t fair. I’ve had Blaze as a Red Collar Dog since he was a young baby. I helped guide him through socializing and confidence building.. all while watching those ears decide whether they wanted to stay up or down. This is by far the worst part of the business but I am eternally grateful to have loved each and every one of my dogs. He was so wonderful to get his nails done, the hype man of the van and always happy to join in whatever plans we had that day. I will miss him greeting me at the door with his little stuffed toys and acting like it was the first time putting on the gentle leader every single time we went to leave. His parents put so much work into raising him and he was truly a wonderful boy to be around. His puppy friends will miss him deeply and he has left a huge hole in our pack. Please join me in expressing your condolences to Blaze’s wonderful family. Sometimes life just isn’t fair.

Yesterday was a hard day but I got through it with the help of my furry friends. I was shocked and heartbroken to find my precious 3 year old cat passed away in her sleep. Most people would need to take some time off to grieve but I know how I am.. seeing all of my pups and their special kitties at home made me feel so much better. Plus, my other babies needed me. I don’t like to think they’re waiting for me and I’m not there. I’m worried about my other cat but he’s hanging in there without his sister. Victoria being the amazing person that she is, was able to drop everything and help get her to the vet so I can bring her ashes home soon and have her home for good where she belongs. So, that’s why my eyes and face looked swollen yesterday 😵‍💫😢.

A huge thank you to my amazing clients who I’ve had to reschedule due to my sweet Elwood having emergency surgery these past couple of days. He had a twisted intestine that went necrotic so he had to have reconstructive surgery immediately. So grateful that he is able to be discharged today and come home! This is a friendly reminder that pet insurance can definitely be worth it. The cost of a sudden emergency surgery would not have been possible for me without it. Thanks for keeping Elwood in your thoughts!

It was a happy reunion today with some Red Collar pups! Can’t wait to see more of them as the weeks roll on 🐾❤️

We have the best clients that are like family at Red Collar. I want to thank everyone who reached out, texted us, left notes (and chocolate), commented on our post and acknowledged my grieving in the loss of our sweet house rabbit, Watson. It is a blessing to be able to work with clients who truly understand the way the world stops when we lose a furry family member. Seeing the pups this past week was healing and probably the most gentle way of easing back into life without Watson. When you support a small business, you directly impact a life. You’re not helping a CEO buy a 3rd holiday home. You are helping people just like you afford to live. When you support a small business, an actual person does a happy dance! Our right hand pup and my own baby, Norman is able to receive the care that he needs now. He regularly sees a chiropractor/gets acupuncture and attends hydrotherapy weekly. This would not be possible without YOU. I am a proud woman and sole owner of a successful business. A business that has created unexpected friendships and forever companionship with their furry family members. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you, even if you support us from afar by liking our posts. I am so thankful be such an important part of your pups life.
