Every single day animals arrive at the Oromocto SPCA needing our help. We feed, exercise, bathe, socialize, play with and provide comfort to these abused, neglected and abandoned animals. We take the wounded and sick to the veterinarian, change bandages, administer medications and monitor their recovery - with the goal of finding each animal a loving home. Last year hundreds of animals were adopte

d from the Oromocto SPCA including cats and dogs of all ages, shapes, sizes and breeds, as well as rabbits, rats and more! We invite you to drop by the shelter during adoption hours to visit the animals in our lovely windowed cat room, kitty condos and large outdoor dog runs, or browse our site and view our adoptable animals online.

MASON UPDATE!
He loves his cuddles on the couch and sometimes forgets he's not a lapdog, haha. He also loves his walks and short runs.
He seems to have a lot of separation anxiety, so we are trying to give him lots of love and have routine in hopes that he eventually learns to trust that we aren't going to abandon him.
In the meantime, we are being patient and enjoying this lovable guy 🥰

Callie is an approximately 3.5 year old female torti with white. She was found outside in the cold and brought to us so she could find a loving family. She is very affectionate and enjoys head scratches. Callie needs to be spayed but would like to have a warm home ready for her once she is good to go! Returning for its second year, I.A.F.F Local 1576 proudly presents our Invitational Firefighter Hockey Tournament. All proceeds will benefit the Oromocto and Area SPCA. Join us at Soldiers Arena on April 4th and 5th to witness firefighters from across the Maritimes compete in this charitable event for the prestigious "Golden Stick".

Loki, Tessa and Charlie took advantage of the warm weather with some play time today!

Today on Mason's adventures we headed to Saint Andrew's! He was very sookie today and smothered us in kisses and snuggles ♡ He went running on the beach on his long line. He has pretty good recall. He thought wading in November was completely acceptable... so we waded 🤷‍♀️ He saw a few dogs (from a distance and was respectful. Saw deer, was interested but didn't say a word and turkeys! What an absolute joy he was today. #LOVETHISDOG♡ As usual, no trip is complete without treats! #Masonneedsahome
