Lestat is an approximately 3 year old neutered male, brown tabby/white cat. When this handsome boy was found, he had a very large abscess on his neck which had burst and he required immediate veterinary care. His neck is almost completely healed now and he’s ready to find a wonderful family to love. Lestat is a very social, talkative boy who loves everyone he’s met so far. He has been socializing with some of our other cats in the catroom with no issues. If you would like to meet this handsome gentleman please call the shelter at 446-4107 to book an appointment.

Brodie is an approximately 1-2 year old neutered male mixed breed who was brought to us by the NBSPCA Animal Protection Officer. When Brodie was initially seized, his collar was embedded in his neck which was very painful. He is all healed now and his beautiful spirit has not been broken. He is a friendly, social loving boy and he has been good with everyone he has met including other dogs. He loves to play with the other shelter residents in the back yard so we think he'd enjoy having a canine sibling. The same cannot be said for cats...he is not a fan.

Welcome to the Oromocto and Area SPCA’s first online Christmas Auction this year:
Happy Howl-idays- Christmas Online Auction #1. Please share with your friends.
1. The auction will run until Thursday, November 28th at 8pm. Any bids placed after that will not count. You will be notified that evening if you have the winning bid in a comment on the auction item.
2. Edited bids will not be accepted, please just enter a new one.
3. Bids do not always show up in order in the comments so keep an eye out.
4. Please pick up all your items from this auction by Sunday at 5pm. (or at least pay and make arrangements to pick up) Pick up location is at the Oromocto and Area SPCA, 111 d’Amours Street in Oromocto.
5. We will never contact you and ask you for payment information over messenger. It’s just drop into the shelter or you can call us to make arrangements.
6. If you are a business and have not been credited for items, or there are errors in your information, please message right away and we will get that fixed. Thank you.
7. Almost every single business is Maritime-owned (most local) and would love you to shop local and order from them! All their purchasing links are there under the item. We think everyone should win! The talent here is astounding.
8. Please be kind to the artists and artisans donating. A small piece of their heart is in every piece.

We hope you have so much fun browsing through and bidding. The outpouring of love for the shelter was humbling, and we love you back!

Today on Mason's Fabulous adventures, we went Santa🎅🤶 hunting!
HE Found a whole crew of wonderful characters at Scott's Nursery and Paw and order!
Mason again was very well behaved even with lots of commotion around him. Stopped to sniff reindeer, had a Christmas scarf and Flashy Hat!
As always, no trip is complete without treats ♡
Don't forget....Mason is available for adoption!

Thank you to everyone who came out to Pet Photos with Santa and his crew! Thank you to Scott's Nursery for always making us feel incredibly welcome and hosting this fundraiser every single year! Thank you to our photographer and all of the volunteers for giving up their day to make this a success!
You raised over $2000 for the homeless animals who come to us.

This huge engorged tick was removed from one of our cats 2 days ago. Ticks are active in temperatures above -4 so even though summer is over, these creepy crawlies are still out there!
