Jax had his first ever grooming and looks so handsome. He was born with a non working eye but it hasn’t dulled his spirit!! He is an extremely happy little guy. 🥰🐾

Pawsome news:

After just a few interviews, Ma has found an experienced groomer, who I feel will be a wonderful match for our clientele! AND… she starts January 26th!!🎉

We are VERY excited that you, the clientele, will still be able to keep bringing your pups to where they are already familiar/comfortable!! 🥰

This groomer also believes a calm, ‘stress-less’ atmosphere is the best experience us pups can have. Therefore, she will be keeping with the set up of one-on-one appointments. This is fabulous news for the current clientele who love the one-on-one personal grooming appointments for their fur kids!

You can also expect to see some changes. Our new groomer will have a different number for contacting her directly and she will be in charge of her own pricing and hours. Ma says everyone has their own flare to add in this industry… so we can’t wait to see her put her own stamp on PCPS! 😊

Good afternoon PCPS family,

In this last 24 hours, after much consideration of what is best for my physical health and the quality of service my clients deserve, I have made the decision to retire, effective immediately.

For nearly 20 years I have very much loved being part of this industry. The last 16 years of operating my business within my own community (between Waterview Animal Hospital in the Miramichi and here in Oromocto) has been the best experience I could have ever asked for. Largely, of course, due to the amazing clientele I have had over the years.

A lot of great memories have been made through the years. I have taught many of your puppies to enjoy their spa days with me. I have also cried and experienced heartbreak with just as many of you when the day came for your fur babies to cross the rainbow bridge.

I want to take this time to thank my clients who have been so supportive over the years and during this difficult time. I am forever grateful and wish you all the best.

I will be taking the next while to search for an experienced groomer to operate the shop and will update you when/if that is finally made possible.

Happy New Year to all!🎉🐾

This is an update on my previous post:

I will not be reaching out to anyone on the wait list for booking until mid January.
I am taking some much needed time off to rest my body, destress and have some tests done.

I still have everyone on the list (in order in which I heard from them) for booking once I reopen.
If you wish to book else where in the mean time, please send me a message and I will remove your dog from the wait list.

Thank you for your understanding as I put myself/my health first for the first time in too long.

I would like to thank my clientele for the wonderful 2022 year full of puppers!

I would also like to apologize to those I couldn’t get to this Christmas. Special thanks to the pawrents who either booked elsewhere voluntarily, or did so with great understanding, when I reached out explaining my circumstances.

This has been a very difficult (sometimes scary) month for me. Some health issues I’ve been dealing with for some time (and the Dr’s advisement) took the forefront and forced me to finally slow down to put my health first.
Although I am not sure when I will be able to starting taking the more challenging clients again, I am hopeful the Dr’s will get me back up and running full steam within a few months.

I never wanted to make a post as such, but I also need to be honest about my limitations. Not doing so for a few months now has put me in circumstances in which I have not been able to finish a few dogs (or would not have been able to if Paul hadn’t been off that day) and one which had me to the hospital shortly there after.

I will be sure to post an update when I am 100% again 🤞 Thank you for your understanding.

This is Miss Poppy… and she just celebrated her 9th birthday on the 19th! 🥳🧁🐾❤️

Poppy’s been my (amazing) client since just a few months old and is one of the last 3 big dogs I have left.
Besides any of my own fur kids… Miss Poppy is what you’d called my Canine-Bestie!

For that reason, this girlie gets her own special post with a couple extra photos. 🥰🐾
