All the girls love Frodo. ❤️ Wilma is a gorgeous black and white velveteen DU female dumbo (Frodos sister) borrowed back for breeding. They love each other. Frodo is so much like his grandpa Loki. The girls always loved him, too. Frodo is a gentle giant at 819g. Between Wilma and Narcissa (also Frodo and Wilmas sister, due anyday) they are going to have the SWEETEST babies. I'm so excited. Some babies will be held back in each for future pairings, but if Wilma looks like Narcissa, im expecting good size litters. Narcissa is FULL!

Galadrielle is doing well. Babies are loud! Lol. Haven't had a chance to peak yet, but hopefully later. Yesterday, I got my final toy delivery for the rats, so I will be finishing setting up the playpen for the ratties today.

The wait is OVER! FINALLY!!! Miss Galadrielle and Teferie welcomed beans this afternoon! Arwen and Narcissa are also due any day now! Follow my page for updates on the babies and watch them grow. No count yet, Galadrielle is a first-time mama, and I just got home from work. She had them while I was away.

I am a breeder. I spend a lifetime learning genetic backgrounds, going over rats, talking, and learning from those in the fancy. I raise each litter as if I gave birth to them and spend an equal amount of time finding them loving forever homes. I only put rats on this planet that I think will be the healthiest (mentally and physically) and nicest examples I can of their variety. I support each family who chose my rats and let them know they are now a part of our extended family. I am there if one needs to come back. I support my rats in education. I hold them when they arrive and leave this world. I share my knowledge and breed for the best temperament so that they will be the advertisement for my dedication. I don't keep track of the money and time I put in to my love of rodents, it would not be a true measure of how I feel. The price I charge for my rats is never profit, but investment in the animals I care for. I am not ashamed of who I am... I work hard at being a good breeder and encouraging others to be the same. 33 rats. 10 cages total all cleaned. Playpen partially started. It's going to be a huge "L" shaped. I'm just waiting for a few more things to show up. Mama is taking a red wine break before starting dinner. Salmon, bok choy, rice.... yes, ratties will be getting some, too. TikTok lives will be starting up sometime this week once Playpen is all done. Babies are due soon! 4 females expecting. Stay tuned! Lots happening at A Mischief of Pocket Puppies!

Welcome to A Mischief of Pocket Puppies Rattery, a place where rats are breed for love, with love.

A bit about me: I have many years of breeding experience with small animals. However, my focus has been on Rats since Feb. 2022.

What you receive when you get rats from me:

Rats must go in pairs at the very least. 3 is better as they are extremely social animals.

I am a hobby breeder. I do not over breed and I do not do it for financial gain. I breed because I love rats and to help educate people, to remove the unfair stigma rats carry.

Rats are intelligent, clean, empathetic, very affectionate, and amazingly wonderful for kids.

My rats are part of the family, and therefore, my rattery resides in my living room, where they have constant exposure to everything, including the dog.

Even as a breeder, I will never claim to know it all. I'm always striving to do it better. Always willing to learn. Such as moving from aspen bedding to bioactive because of the extra enrichment it provides. It doesn't come without challenges, but I'm up for it.

Every year, I also take 3 of my breeders in for vet health checks, making sure everything is tikaddy boo.
