A New Year’s Eve to Remember🎉

Today at Dr. Vetamin Primary and Urgent Care Veterinary Hospital, we treated a beautiful dog named Kizzy who came to us in critical condition with a life-threatening condition known as pyometra—a severe uterine infection that can be fatal if left untreated.

Kizzy’s symptoms included lethargy, lack of appetite, and a fever. Our team quickly performed diagnostics and confirmed the pyometra. Without hesitation, we prepared for emergency surgery to remove the infected uterus and save Kizzy’s life.

We’re happy to report that the surgery went smoothly, and Kizzy is now resting comfortably and on her way to recovery. There’s no better way to close out the year than by making a difference for a beloved pet and their family.

Today was another action-packed day at the hospital! 🏥 We had the pleasure of performing surgeries for the adorable brother cats, Jay and Messi, who came in for their neuter procedures. 🐾💙

We also managed several emergencies, ensuring our furry patients received the urgent care they needed. And, of course, we were thrilled to see our sweet friend Lara back for her recheck—always a joy to see her happy tail wagging! 🐶❤️

Big thanks to our dedicated team for their hard work and to our wonderful clients for trusting us with their beloved pets. 💕

🌟 Welcome to the Team, Baby Eline! 🌟

We are thrilled to share the wonderful news that Dr. Vetamin has a new honorary member! Baby Eline surprised us by arriving a bit earlier than expected, bringing immense joy to her loving family—our own Dr. Nozari and Dr. Ellie. 💕

You may have noticed some minor adjustments in our appointment times and service scope recently. This is to ensure we continue providing the best care for your pets while Dr. Nozari and Dr. Ellie take some well-deserved family time. Our dedicated colleague veterinarians will be covering shifts during this period, and we’ll be back to our usual services by the first week of December.

Help Save Sugar: Life-Saving Surgery for a Sweet Persian Boy

Meet Sugar, a sweet, affectionate 2-year-old Persian cat who has brought immense joy to his loving parents, who are currently studying in Ottawa. Sugar recently faced a critical medical emergency and urgently needs surgery to save his life. Unfortunately, his parents have exhausted their financial resources and are unable to afford the full cost of his surgery. The hospital has already stepped in to cover one-third of the costs, but we still need to raise the remaining amount to make this surgery possible.
