Help Save Sugar: Life-Saving Surgery for a Sweet Persian Boy

Meet Sugar, a sweet, affectionate 2-year-old Persian cat who has brought immense joy to his loving parents, who are currently studying in Ottawa. Sugar recently faced a critical medical emergency and urgently needs surgery to save his life. Unfortunately, his parents have exhausted their financial resources and are unable to afford the full cost of his surgery. The hospital has already stepped in to cover one-third of the costs, but we still need to raise the remaining amount to make this surgery possible.

We are proud to offer a full range of advanced soft tissue surgeries at our state-of-the-art facility! Recently, Max was referred to us for elevated liver values. With our Specialist-Reviewed Advanced Ultrasound Imaging, we diagnosed him with a Gallbladder Mucocele.

After determining that surgery was his best chance for recovery, our skilled team performed a delicate gallbladder removal surgery. This procedure requires both experienced surgron and specialized equipment—both of which we are thrilled to provide.

Max’s recovery was smooth, and just two days after surgery, he went home wagging his tail! 🐾 We’re so happy for Max and his family, and grateful to be part of his healing journey.

🐾 Emergency C-Section Success Story 🐾

Yesterday, we had an emergency C-section for sweet Mya, who came in to our hospital in distress. Thanks to the incredible teamwork from our dedicated staff, we were able to deliver 8 healthy puppies and ensure Mya had a smooth recovery. 🐶✨

We're so happy to see both mom and her adorable pups doing well and heading home healthy! 💙 It's moments like these that remind us why we're here – to help pets and their families when they need us most.
