This adventurous dog swallowed two skewers in two months!! Both required surgery, and luckily both times had a happy ending.

A reminder to keep skewers and sticks far out of reach! 🐾

This curious kitty got a little too creative… and swallowed a 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝. 🧵😿

Our veterinary team quickly diagnosed the problem with X-rays and performed a delicate abdominal surgery to remove the dangerous foreign body.

💉 From anesthesia to careful removal and post-op monitoring, every step was crucial in saving this cat’s life.
The good news? ✅ He has recovered well thanks to timely intervention and round-the-clock care.

⚠️ 𝐏𝐞𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐩: Everyday items like needles, thread, string, and rubber bands can be extremely dangerous if swallowed by cats. Always keep them safely stored away!

We recently treated a brave pup who accidentally got 𝐚 𝐟𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐰 𝐩𝐚𝐝. 😢 This was a delicate case — the hook had penetrated in such a way that removal required anesthesia and surgical removal.

✅ The good news: with proper care, he is now recovering well!
⚠️ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫: Fish hook injuries are true emergencies. Trying to pull it out at home can cause severe pain, bleeding, infection, or even permanent damage.
