Position Summary:
➡Duties include, but are not limited to:
➡Planning, organizing, and executing a beginner training program for riders and horses
➡Coach/train children, youth, young adults, and adults with and without developmental disabilities to ride and engage safely with horses
➡Develop safety program for new riders
➡Provide meaningful educational experiences to visitors, riders and clients on farm activities, proper horse care, proper horse riding, barn/stable care, and working with horses. Enrich all student and clientele understanding and relationship between horses and riders
➡Care for horses and other animals; including consulting on health and wellbeing of horses and reporting health concerns to management
➡Develop and administer record keeping system for horse care and horse health records
➡Appropriately and safely use and maintain riding equipment including tack, grooming tools/supplies, and saddling equipment
