We have been away on vacation this past month but we are now back and ready to refill our stock ☺️. Lots of markets lined up especially for the upcoming Christmas season… We know Christmas is still a few months away but preparations have started… thinking of the next Advent calendar 😊.

We hope to meet you all soon again. A full list of markets will be announced next week.

In the meantime, our website is open : www.bonesandstuff.ca and online orders will be fulfilled week of September 9th.

Did you know… that Ritchie Feed and Seed in Gloucester, on Windmill lane, carries many of our products:

Cold-smoked bones including small and large marrow, small and large knuckle, Dino clubs and Dino bones.

New: patella bones, a nice long lasting option for smaller breeds.

New: our super long lasting buffalo braided rings and rolls are an alternative to bones and ideal for heavy chewers !!

We have also refilled Ritchie´s shelves with beef esophagus strips, beef tendons and tiny tendons, lamb tripes and we have added lamb tracheas😍

Finally, you can also find there soft treats ideal for training purposes as well as our best selling, dehydrated beef lung slices. They are low fat, easy to snap. A single ingredient perfect for little rewards throughout the day !

Looking for an outing idea this weekend? Come and join us at the HerbFest 2024 in White Lake. Many vendors will be setting up at the beautiful grounds of the Waba Cottage Museum and Gardens.

There will be live entertainment, food trucks, workshops & presentations…

It is a day of celebrating healthy living!

And your pups can join the celebration & enjoy our natural chews and treats 😊

Join us tomorrow for the popular Wiener-paw-looza event at Carlington park in support of the Canadian Dachshund rescue (Ontario). We will have our full range of natural chews and bones with a special section for our smaller furry companions 😍 See event details below:

A fun-filled day of vendor stalls, delicious barbecue, wiener dog races (all dog breeds welcome), costume contests, games, a silent auction and prizes galore!!

Entrance is free and all proceeds raised go towards the support and care of the dogs in CDRO foster care.

Please note retractable leashes are not allowed for everyone’s safety.

11am - 3pm

We have refilled shelves at Ritchie Feed & Seed on Windmill Lane, Ottawa East. They are open today until 5pm. Plenty of time still to grab a treat for your pup to celebrate Canada Day!! ( and keep them focused on their chew if they get anxious during fireworks)

Last weekend was the dog show in Richmond organized by the Ottawa Kennel Club . It was our second year as a vendor and it was great to meet new and returning customers while admiring splendid dogs of different breeds during their conforming, obedience or scent detection events.

I was lucky to not only admire them through my own eyes but also through the vendor next to us, local artist Carolyne Buchanan. Her dog paintings are simply amazing!

First outdoor market this year and our first time as vendors in Rockland 😍 We are looking forward to meeting all pet lovers and their furry friends 🐶 We will have our selection of cold smoked bones, long lasting buffalo chews, bully sticks, collagen sticks, beef tendons and a variety of soft treats for training purposes. Kangaroo chews are in stock for pups with a beef allergy. Our natural paw balms and shampoo bars are also available.

Big bones are back in stock and available on our website and at Ritchie Feed and Seed inc on Windmill lane, Ottawa: Dino bones, Dino clubs, large knuckles, large marrow bones…

As usual, they have been cold-smoked for 42 hours over natural hardwood. Two benefits to this process :

🦴 It renders out most of the fat and so your dog’s digestive system is less likely to be upset
🦴won’t alter the bones, virtually preventing them from splintering or chipping.

They are long-lasting, easy to store and what more… they smell yummy 😉

Snow and ice definitely mean it is paw balm season ! Why?
You want to protect your pup´s paws from the salt. Our paw balm is made with a natural plant wax, candelilla, that, once rubbed on the paws, will create a protective barrier.

It is also made with coconut oil and shea butter, two natural ingredients with moisturizing and soothing properties. Ideal for their little pads in harsh weather conditions.

Does your pup wear boots? You can still make good use of our paw balm. It works wonders on dry, chapped noses 🙂We do not add any fragrances so it won’t interfere with pup’s sense of smell.

Pawsome sweater don’t you think ? 🤩 Totally appropriate since last week end’s highlight at the Ottawa Christmas Market was indeed for many of us the Santa Paw event. Lots of doggies in their Christmas attire came to have their picture taken with Santa !!

Our bundle bag will still be available for $18.50: 1 paw balm to protect pup’ s paws from cold and salt and 1 shampoo bar: super handy for ‘spot cleaning’ after a walk outside when legs and belly are dirty but no-one really wants to go through the whole bathing process … 😉

Sharing a few pictures of the cute pups who came by our booth at Santa Paws event last Saturday in Kanata. We were right across the room where pups visited Santa and I can tell you the line was long! Many were dressed in their best Christmas attire and Mickey’s definitely matched Santa’s 😍 Thank you for coming out to support this amazing Rescue organization. It was a great day!
