On December 28, we visited Ottawa Humane Society to drop off donations and meet with OHS Event Coordinator Karlee Ouellette .

This was a great day! Thanks to the generosity of ❤️❤️Kanata community❤️ and our community in ❤️Uzbekistan❤️, Farah and Azar were able to collect 🔥🔥$435🔥🔥 which was doubled️💰💰 through the OHS program!

While we were at OHS, Farah and Karlee discussed plans on activities for the new year, Karlee gave us a tour and Farah had a chance to visit with a wonderful cat Berkley and Azar visited bunnies. We even made it to the Buddy and Belle Boutique to get a collar for Lolo.

Day 7

This season just keeps on giving! 🎁

As we are planning our trip to Ottawa Humane Society to drop off the donations we've collected, we have more and more amazing, kind and caring people reaching out and donating.

Day 6

Something absolutely unexpected and wonderful happened this Christmas.

We received a 🎁🎁🎁 $100 gift from Uzbekistan 🎁🎁🎁 to support Farah's and Azar's efforts on animal welfare. Jamoliddin Dadajonov and family, thank you so much for this phenomenal kindness and support! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We are at $407!! Unbelievable!

Day 4 and Day 5

Right before Christmas Farah and Azar collected 💫💫$62 💫💫more in our wonderful neighborhood bringing them to ⭐️⭐️⭐️$307 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Ottawa Humane Society!!! The goal of $300 achieved!! Thank you all for your donations! This is so much appreciated!

What a fantastic start to the week! Turns out, last week we received one more donation (and yes, we will get faster in figuring it out 🐌 😂)

Day 2

Who could have thought helping animals could be that much fun? We did! 🤩

Last night was another success! Thanks to the generosity of our neighbors at the beautifully decorated Zokol Cres., Kanata, Farah and Azar were able to raise another ⭐️$65⭐️ for Ottawa Humane Society! This brought the total of two days canvassing the neighborhood to ⭐️⭐️⭐️ $105⭐️⭐️⭐️!

A shout out to the neighbors at the Nortoba Cres., Kanata for your donations last night!

We collected $40 towards our $300 goal for the Ottawa Humane Society before Christmas 2023.

Farah and Azar are starting their campaign to help Ottawa Humane Society this year! The goal is to collect $300 before Christmas to help animals.
They started with going to the OHS, introducing themselves and meeting a wonderful adoption counselor Hannah, who walked them through OHS current challenges and needs and invited to meet some of the animals.

Farh and Azar dropped off $180 of proceeds from the craft sale and donations during the plus three bags of toys and towels donated by the River Park South community. Many thanks to everyone who supported their mission! You are awesome!

Another ! Meet Azar, 7, (right) and his sister, Farah, 9. The kids came in with their dog, Lolo, to drop off a donation of $180 plus all sorts of toys and items to help us look after the dogs in our care. Farah and Azar created a page back in the summer to market their crafts, so they could raise money for the WHS.

“We also knocked on doors so we could sell our crafts and get things for dogs here,” Farah said. Azar explained that they want to help dogs find new families so they can have a good life like Lolo, who was adopted from the WHS. “It’s fun to help,” Azar said. We couldn’t agree more and want to offer a great big thanks from the bottom or our hearts.

One day left until the and our fundraising craft sale!
Yesterday we received our first business cards, and just before that our pop up banner. Farah and Azar are very excited and have been finishing up the lanterns staying up late last night. See you all there!

Summer of 2019. Saturday. Farah(9) and Azar(7) started their day with "Mom, we need to do something with our lives."
Later we found that they were referring to finding a way to support animal shelters. This is how all of this started.

The vision that Farah and Azar have is to engage other kids (and adults) for more positive changes that could be achieved. Join us!

We graciously accept the following:

- Pet food and toys
- Bath towels and blankets
- Newspapers, plastic bags, puppy pads

100% of all proceeds go to local animal shelters.

I know how what you did last summer.. (c) 🤩

Another great ! Young humane leaders Farah (9) and Azar (10) decided this summer they would start an initiative called 'We Help Tails and Paws'. After consulting with the WHS on our needs, they went door to door and collected 170 towels, a large box of newspapers, two puppy pads, some cat food, a large bag of toys and $75 in cash to give to the WHS. We can't thank these enough for taking the time to help the animals in need!
