We are thrilled to invite you to the grand opening of our new space! Join us on June 2nd from 10 AM to 2 PM for a delightful day filled with donuts, coffee, tea, drinks, games, prizes, and more.
While we love our furry friends, this event is for humans only, allowing you to freely explore our facility without any overwhelming introductions for your pets. Feel free to bring your friends and family; this is a kid-friendly event with fun surprises for the little ones too!
A professional photographer will be on hand to capture the festivities, ( Alexander Fizzard) but rest assured, we will respect your privacy and not take or post any pictures if you prefer to stay out of the spotlight.
Our new groomer will be there alongside me to answer any questions about our brand new business, "You Wash, We Cut." Small dog edition. Of course, I will also be there excited to show you around and answer any questions about the Nail Parlour.
Even if you no longer bring your dog to us—whether they've overcome their fear, you've moved away, moved on, or have sadly lost a furry friend—we would love to see familiar faces. Everyone is welcome!

Meet the owner of ‘Kay’s Nail Parlour’ known as Kay The Dog Boss.

Kay has always had a unique intuition when it comes to understanding animal minds, a gift that she didn’t realize was special until she started advertising her acceptance of any behavior four years ago. This realization led her to quickly discover her true talent.

With 15 years of experience in the animal professional field, Kay’s passion for dogs began at a young age and has only grown stronger over the years. Starting out by walking two standard poodles for $5 a week at the age of 11, to working at a dog facility straight out of high school, soon after becoming a dog groomer and has continuously deepened her understanding of animal behavior and fear.

In addition to her hands-on experience and intuitive nature when it comes to animals, Kay has further honed her skills by becoming a

🌟certified dog trainer at the VS Academy in dog training and behaviour.

In the past few years her dedication and hard work have been recognized through various awards, including 🥇Best Pet Groomer in Faces Magazine for 2022 and 2023, 🥇Best Dog Trainer of 2022 as well as 🥇Best Pet Groomer of Ottawa in the Canadian Choice Award for 2024.

She continues to juggle her love for life as a mom and a wife to an amazing supportive husband , while chasing her dreams as a Boss and proving to her kids that hard work pays off 🤍
