Such a HAPPY announcement!!! ❤️

It's been a loooong week. So much stress and worry with Frenchie. Thursday night, I thought we were going to lose her. She was so uncomfortable. She wasn't drinking much water on her own or eating much hay. I gave her some metacam for the pain, which helped. I was about to call the emergency vet when she finally began to perk up, and she took all of her meds and even ate some pumpkin, critical care, and finely chopped up hay. Still the following day, she suffered even with pain meds. Her stomach gurgled every time she ate or drank anything. I was so naive to think the poop storm had begun on our last post, but that was nothing compared to what began yesterday. Things are really, really moving now, and she's so messy, but once this is all over, she will get a bum bath and I'm sure Fluffy will take care of all the food stains on her face . She had gone up in weight the other day but has come back down. I'll be booking a re-check with Dr. Auger soon and chatting about her lost weight again. Still for now, since yesterday, she seems to "feel" much better, and we just have to wait for things to pass and return to as normal as possible. We're still praying for Frenchie and wishing she will recover very soon. If you can keep her in your thoughts, we'd love that very much. ♥️ We will keep you updated as we go along.

Raise your hand if you like to do puzzles or play games that are good for your brain? 🙋‍♀️ I do! The same goes for our animals here, although you won't see them putting together a 1000 piece puzzle; more like eating the pieces so they never go back together 🤣 Animals get bored, and we want to keep them enriched and happy. That's why we are hoping you can help! We're looking for dog/cat treat puzzles that you may have that you don't need anymore. We would LOVE them for mainly the buns, but we'll share them with the piggies, too! If you have any treat toys or puzzles that we can let the animals try for some extra mental stimulation, PLEASE let us know. We would gratefully accept all we can find. I don't know why, but this cracks me up so much. It's just the way that Spring's toes spread so perfectly. Reminds me of Edward Scissorhands, lol.
