Exciting things are happening for Shake a Paw. Treats! I will be at two Holiday craft sales this weekend: Shopapolooza at Sacred Heart High School on Saturday, Nov. 18th followed by the Distillery Holiday Market at Dairy Distillery in Almonte on Nov. 19th. (see posters for times and locations)

And..... I have been asked to sell my dog treats in the new Christmas Pop-Up Shop, Vibe613 opening tomorrow at 149 Bank Street!

(Mom says I'm not allowed to skip school to bake biscuits, so I guess I'll have to give up computer games for a while!)

Exciting times are here! I have finally opened a shop on the Ottawa Artisans website just in time for the Pick of the Patch Virtual sale (Sept. 29 - Oct 2). A great opportunity to support some of the wonderful artisans in the Ottawa area and have all your purchases bundled together in one order.

Well, the house has gone from smelling like maple syrup and bacon to the essence of baked liver and rosemary! My Chief Tasting Officer has set up camp in front of the oven and my brother is hoping there will be something else on the dinner menu tonight.

I will be set up at the Calabogie Farmers' Market tomorrow with fresh batches of Meaty Bones, Maple Bacon and Canadian Maple biscuits. 😁

The results of my kitchen treat tests are in… I now have Maple Bacon and Canadian Maple (for sensitive tummies) ready for sale.

I borrowed my Mom’s maple leaf cookie cutter which is a tad bigger than what my treat bags will comfortably hold so for now, each package will contain one large maple leaf biscuit and many smaller round bite sized biscuits to make up the 50g bag. I’m keeping my eyes open for a smaller maple leaf shape in the meantime.

My Chief Tasting Officer says they are both very tasty. He said his favourite is the Maple Bacon.
