And just like that, our clinic weekend is over. We are so grateful to have had elite rider and coach Belinda Trussell for a fun filled learning experience. And made extra special with Megan Glynn, rider fitness expert, who's professional input on our riders made visible differences to their position and effectiveness. We appreciate all the auditors who came out to enjoy the clinic. Looking forward to doing it again in the spring.

EMS Dressage is looking for a reliable person with experience in horses to expand our team. Our stable has a respectful and friendly atmosphere and is located in Carp, ON.

The main function of the job is to ensure the care of the horses. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Cleaning the stalls (up to 16).
- Help with turn-out/turn-in when needed.
- Ensure the health of the horses, give special care to some horses if needed.
- Managing and maintaining the paddocks.
- See to the cleanliness inside and outside the stable building.

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday from 8h00 to 12h30.
Salary to be discussed.

Aberlour EMS "Abby" (2022)

Friendly outgoing warmblood x PRE Andalusian grey filly.
Will finish around 16.1. She is out of our Sandro Hit x Don Gregory mare by the PRE stallion Abanico XVIII.

She has three excellent gaits and is bred for dressage. Abby has the best of both breeds and will make someone a beautiful competitive partner.

More exciting news! Megan Glynn from Halt Square Rider Performance will be joining our clinic on October 18th & 19th.

Owner, trainer and founder of Halt Square, Megan is an equestrian athlete that overcame physical setbacks in her own riding pursuits and is now determined to help other equestrians enhance their performance and build a stronger connection with their horses through fitness and nutrition.

Halt Square welcomes riders of all levels, from beginners to elite athletes (like Belinda Trussell) and she builds a personalized fitness program that aligns with your goals and address your weaknesses and aspirations. Megan applies her fitness and nutrition expertise to help equestrian athletes achieve their goals both on and off the saddle.

We are so lucky to have Megan join us and she is offering her services to both riders in the clinic and auditors who are attending for a special discounted clinic price. So there are two options.

Option 1.
Any auditor wishing to have an assessment can bring mounted video with them and Megan will perform an onsite video analysis and an unmounted assessment during the day.

Fee is $125 (regularly $250)

Option 2.
Mounted and unmounted consultation for any of the clinic riders.

Fee is $175 (regularly $250)

Please contact us if you are interested in having an assessment done with Megan as we will be booking times during the clinic for any evaluations.

Full locker in tack room.
Newly built 20 m x 52 m indoor arena with excellent maintained fiber footing and direct access from the barn.
20 m x 60 m outdoor ring with excellent maintained footing.
Access to many kms of groomed trails in the back of the forested property.

Services include:
Feeding 4x/day with top quality small bale hay.
Feeding 2x/day grain, personalized to each horse.
Daily turnout in individual or small group safe, electrified paddocks.
Blanketing to accommodate different weather.
We offer private or semi-private lessons with a Registered coach. We also specialize in young horses and are happy to start them under saddle.

Super excited to announce that we will be hosting a clinic with the amazing Belinda Trussell on October 4th & 5th. Belinda is a Canadian Olympic rider and High Performance Coach that has represented Canada at 2 Olympic Games, 4 World Equestrian Games, a World Cup and was part of the silver medal winning team at the 2015 Pan American Games.
Auditors are welcome. $30/day or $50 for the two days. Snacks and drinks included.

Lease opportunity for a solid & motivated young person wanting to ride a fancy pony and possible compete. Cocoa is a beautiful 13.2 hand dark bay pony mare. She has 3 very nice gaits and forward go. She is schooling Level 2 movements and lots of potential to go up. She is not a beginner's pony as she is very forward going but no naughty behavior. A motivated person wanting to show would do amazing with this fancy girl. Contact us if you would like to come and meet Cocoa.

Another successful day despite the crazy heat. Both horses gave all they could for Mylène. A testament to her beautiful bond with both these horses. I think Nero would trot thru fire for her!! Essa would sprout wings and fly...lol. So first place and nice scores with each horse. Mylène wraps up her weekend as champion in both levels.
A big shout out to family, friends and clients who made their way to the showground to show their support. Nero's owner Peter is the best and always ringside giving encouragement!
A special thanks to our wonderful boarder Cyndi who helped me get all the horses in and out at home both days and also came to the show to cheer Mylène on!
This weekend was extra special because Mylène had her besties with her. Melody, Maude and Audrey came up from Montreal to show their love and support. Awesome women whom I have had the privilege to watch grow up over the years into extraordinary people.
And finally none of this could happen without my husband Pascal manning the ship at home and making sure all the animals are taken care of 🥰
I know I say it all the time, but it really does take a village.
Finally a big thank you to everyone at Westar and their lovely showground. Always a well organized show that is fun to be at.

Congratulations to Mylène and her two beautiful mounts! Despite the very challenging hot weather, Mylène and Duquesa DKF got a first and second place at First Level with some great scores. This 5 yo mare just keeps showing us all the potential she has and we are very excited about her future.
With Guadanero AT (owner Peter Schewtschenko), Mylène won both her classes at Third Level with very nice scores! It has been so fun watching this team develop over the last 2 years and see this horse blossom.
Day 2 tomorrow, hoping for a break from the heat!
