🌱✨NEW BLEND✨🌱

Spring has sprung (almost!), and with it we have a new herbal offering to help your horse through the seasonal transition period.

'Cleanse' is a blend of eight gentle detoxifying herbal allies, that stimulate and support the liver, kidneys, and lymphatic system, helping the body to eliminate stored environmental toxins and metabolic waste, while providing natural prebiotics to aide digestion.

Including early season greens and roots such as nettle, dandelion, cleavers and burdock, Cleanse mirrors the natural early spring foraging profile available in the northern hemisphere, and is very helpful in facilitating the switch from hay to pasture.

(coincidentally also useful after a few too many winter wine and cheese evenings... 😉)

Recent trip to Saint-Lazare to offer herbal support to a beautiful herd, including some recently gentled US mustangs. It was especially lovely to have Dreamy and Nova approach of their own accord, and really get into the self-selection process!

Interestingly their choices mirrored each other, and focused on nervous system supportives, and herbs to help process and release previous emotional trauma.

We currently have available a limited number of freshly-made packs of our herbal dewormer balls. They can be hand fed to your horse as a treat in conjunction with your regular deworming schedule; one per day for 5-10 days over the full moon period.

If you are interested in learning how to supplement your horse’s diet with herbs, our horsey herb walk is a great place to start!

Join The Eponacary on-farm in Carp, for an interactive and informative afternoon exploring a variety of common wild medicinal plants, and their health benefits for horses.

Learn how to:
- recognise horse-friendly herbs
- identify their parts and medicinal properties
- forage respectfully and sustainably
- combine complementary herbs to create your own blend
- prepare a nutritious herbal smoothie for your horse

Light refreshments will be provided.

BYO mason jar!

Please dress according for the weather. In case of severe weather, the workshop will be postponed to a later date. More sessions may be added in the summer if there is enough interest.

$45 per person. Pre-registration required. Payment can be made via etransfer ahead of event or cash day of.
