Here it is! The Sprinter fundraising day information!
The sprinter day will be held September 21st 2025 between 9:00 and 4:00pm here at Kadan Kennels. New dogs and all breeds welcome!
This fundraising event is held in collaboration with L Graveline Photography - please don't miss out on her pictures they are amazing!! Go check out her website, you won't be disappointed!
Here are a few rules and a bit of information about the event:
Each run is $15 and a maximum of 3 runs allowed per dog. Dogs can take up 1 spot per hour only, dogs will not be allowed to run more than once in the hour timeslot. You can register more than one dog per timeslot. Please note you will need a second handler to release or catch your dog, we will not have extra hands to help out at this event! I am sure participants will be more than happy to help but unfortunately we won't be able to assist with dogs that day.
Dogs must be 12 months old or more to participate.
No females in heat allowed, this is for their safety as the dogs will be off leash while running sprinters. While the area is fenced, we also do not want to distract the male dogs ;)
Dogs must be on leash at ALL times when not running sprinter. Please ensure to keep a safe distance between all dogs.
There will be space to put up shade tents but you are welcome to crate from your car. Don't forget to bring water for you and your dogs as we will not have running water on site.
This will be a fun event, no title, awards or ribbons will be given. It will be our first time holding this type of event so please be patient with us! If this works out well, we are planning on holding other fun days!
