Remembrance Day

This day, also known as Armistice Day or Poppy Day, commemorates the sacrifices of those who fought in conflicts to protect freedom, peace, and justice.

Our clinic is taking the time from 11-12pm to watch the ceremony and have a moment of silence for those who have served and our currently serving.

We also want to remember and recognize all the service animals that worked alongside our soldiers and veterans

We also wanted to highlight the Canadian Veteran Service Dog Unit that provides support to veterans living with PTSD or physical injuries. https://cvsdu.ca

Today is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as well as Orange Shirt Day. The staff of Centretown Vet recognize that we are on unceded Algonquin Territory. We wear orange to honour the indigenous children, families and communities who have been forever impacted by residential schools. We take time today to listen and learn.
